I did the same thing.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, these should have been rebadged and sold here as a Fiero.

I had naturally aspirated Baja with a manual and it was not quick by any definition of the word. Still was ok fun on a back road though. Turbos with a manual are unicorns but with his budget he could probably find a good one if he’s willing to travel to get it. The bed is pretty useless so an Outback would be much

Also, I’ve heard that the only reason the Baja came to exist was because when Isuzu stopped producing cars in Lafayette Subaru needed to figure out a way to fill the excess capacity at the plant so they created a new model based on the Outback that would require minimal new tooling. Not sure if this is true or not

How did Nissan/Datsun Justify making Silvia, Skyline, and Z cars concurrently for so long? Seems like a lot of model overlap. Imagine Nissan selling three sporty rear wheel drive coupes today.

but I’ve driven an Opel Astra in Ireland with the steering wheel on the right. Not that that really refutes your point.

Something similar though not quite a subtle happened to my dad. Less than two months after he had gotten a new car he was driving on the freeway when the ball mount fell out of the tow hitch of the pickup truck driving in front of him. It bounced underneath his car tearing up lots of things underneath. The car was

Except the V70 and V50 were both traverse engine and fwd (or awd) making a 302/T5 swap exponentially more involved than it would be for a rwd 240. I’ve learned though not to doubt the knowledge of Jalops so I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt that you already knew that and were coming from a purely hypothetical

I was about to post this video but thought I better scroll down and make sure no one else posted it first. Well done.

The second generation Astro/Safari was introduced in 1995. Any GM minivan that has come out since then is indistinguishable to my mind and registers as a single unidentifiable model when seen on the road.

The Opel was called the speedster and you can see some styling similarities between this and the solstice/sky but the speedster/VX220 were mid engine which is what would have made them perfect platforms to restyle as a new Fiero.

I already mentioned this in another thread but GM even had a car in their portfolio at the time they could have rebadged as a Fiero.

It was always my opinion that GM could have saved Saturn if they would have gone all in with rebadged Opels sooner. Saturn was great in the beginning and was getting better at the end but they had a lot of crappy years in the middle that made the brand not worth saving when GM went bankrupt.

Burninateing the countryside

I’m pretty sure the Subaru Forester can still be had with a manual (albeit only in base trim) unless they removed that option in the last couple of years.

I couldn’t agree with you more. Instagram is completely ruining our culture. So many people only care about getting a good picture to post on Instagram for the carefully curated version of their life that they want to portray to others. They have little interest actually living life and enjoying the moment. It drives

I want that Wagoneer! Look at at it! That color is magnificent!

Forget the Mazda I want this:

I may not be able to give you fame but I can give you a star.
