My parents had me rather late - my mum was 39 and my dad was 54. I am now 24 and growing up, I didn't quite mind that my parents were older. It only struck me that I wouldn't have my parents as long as my other friends would (generally speaking) when I was in my teens and I felt (still do) sad.

I had bad bacne in my late teens. somehow that didn't stop me from wading and playing at the beach a few times a week and a few months later, my skin cleared up. So my speculation is that the salt water helped my bacne.
