Honestly, the comments are the only reason I haven’t moved to The Drive like many of Jalop’s previously great bloggers already have.

What the author, and by extension the bloggers and publishers of this site, don’t understand is that we are not idiots and live in the real world. This is just about the last straw for me for Jalopnik. TheDrive has better content. Jalopnik steals half it’s good blogs from them anyway. I’ll miss the comments over here…

You didn’t miss out on anything.  It was just a fucking advertisement.  They changed a few paint colors, a few interior colors, and made CarPlay standard.  Why did we need a whole slideshow for that?  Why did we need anything, that’s some pretty vanilla “new model year” stuff.

I guess the corporate powers that be have indicated otherwise, but this REALLY did not need to be a slide show. Slideshows are pennywise and pound foolish. You get a few people to click through all the slides and more page/ad views, but you drive more traffic away in the long run.
