...if only I could afford it. :( My grandmother swore by Pendleton clothes and I’ve been wanting a blanket forever...
Yeah, boy. Here in New Jersey, Teppers, Best and Co., and Bambergers were _everything_ in the 50s/60s. You could hit Teppers and get your Girl Scout uniform, its accessories and any Bobbsey Twin book you could manage to talk your mom into buying. ;) Teppers book section was the first bookstore I ever visited, and it…
When my dad died, my mother was going to give away his Craftsman tool collection because she didn’t think we’d need it. I pointed out that I’m no slouch at fixing things—and that the new Craftsmans were nowhere near as durable as the old. Being a thrifty sort, she saw my point, bless her. ;)
Yep—Penney’s Arizona Jeans have been my go-to ever since Lane Bryant decided tall big girls don’t need jeans with a fitting inseam.
Especially if the permanent White House staff is predominately black, which could very well be the case.
Please, for the love of Nyarlhotep and all that is unholy, could someone tell me what is so hard about turning on light switches? Has Zuckerberg/Evil Google/Peter Thiel replaced them throughout the nation with some terrifyingly-unintuitive iClicks or something?

Still boring. :p
One of the best, yep. ;) Major reason—a truly formidable villian. Kananga was ahead of Bond every step of the way and came close to winning this thing. LALD gets bonus points for ragging on Bond being the whitest white guy ever. ;)
Word—Quantum was not only bad, it had one of the dullest Bond villians ever (Does anyone even remember his name? That’s the least a good Bond should deliver.) And let us not speak of his tedious evil scheme. Or that godawful theme song. :p
“Finding lasting romantic love is dependent on several variables outside my control.”
I get the feeling they are like Clint Eastwood—liberal in some things, but Republican-party-line when the rubber meets the road.
“Garth Brooks”
How is it that noted Republicans Tom Selleck and/or Gary Sinise aren’t on here yet?
Crime To Remember is straight-up terrific. It’s never about just the crime, but how it reflected a facet of the times. As well, they have cases that went under the radar because they involved non-white folks or marginalized people.
