It kind of strange when we finally realize that Vin Diesel is the leastcandyass” of this two bald guy.

Give him credit for realizing alcohol is one of the few things that could make that movie tolerable.

He really torpedoed himself over what was just an okay movie, even by his standards.

The person I feel bad about in all of this is Cavill who seemed genuinely excited to be coming back to the role, only to have everything completely dashed a few weeks later.

Teremana: The Candyass Tequila

I had no desire to pirate any Looney Tunes cartoons before today. Now I must have them all.

the deleted cartoons include “What’s Opera, Doc?”, “Rabbit Of Seville,” “Duck Amuck,” and “One Froggy Evening”

And most of them are only there because they’re foreign workers and they face deportation if they quit.

He added, “That’s why I spent the last five weeks cutting costs like crazy.”

My point is that you can break a lease, or you can have all of your people in the office . . . but you can’t have both.

He won’t even pay for toilet paper let alone suicide nets!

It’s like the old saying: If you owe the bank $1 million, that’s a problem for you. If you owe the bank $100 million, that’s a problem for the bank.

I guess $8 a checkmark isn’t covering the bills.

Meanwhile, Twitter employees have to bring their own toilet paper to work.

god hes so fucking stupid. the only reason i think hes probably doing this is to get out of the leases and figures a lawsuit will cost him less money in the long run. plus he wouldnt have to pay the judgement fully or take forever to pay it.

I’m willing to bet he fired the accounts payable department so I’m sure all bills haven’t been paid.

This would be a pretty easy problem to solve . . . if he wasn’t such a prick about people working from home.

Johnson talked about how he watched Three Outlaw Samurai and Sahara when he was writing Last Jedi, and how many other writers working on Star Wars projects have that kind of cinematic knowledge to draw upon? The Gilroys, sure. I bet Filoni’s seen a lot of Shaw Brothers stuff. But a lot of the new Star Wars stuff

I’ve been thinking about Andor a lot lately. A common diagnosis of Star Wars here and elsewhere is that it’s become too insular and self referential. It gets pointed out that Lucas was drawing on serials and samurai films for inspiration while, in contrast, much of the new media is just drawing on SW.

Really beginning to think that the MCU’s phenomenal success, like that of Star Wars in the ‘70s and ‘80s, is a fluke that cannot be repeated by any other studio, no matter how hard they try, and that any such efforts are doomed to failure or at the very least a very distant second-place status.
