Andor made me finally recognize I wasn’t enjoying The Mandalorian and I no longer have to keep going back to it because there’s other stuff out there. I don’t think it’s a bad show, it’s just not my thing so I’m glad there’s more space (ha) for all sorts of Star Wars things.

I would pay to see the original cuts of the original films, although I think part of Lucas’ deal selling to Disney is they can’t release any of the theatrical cuts without his Special Edition edits. He won’t even give the original prints to the National Archive (and they refuse to accept the altered cuts he gave them)

This is sad that we actually got a break from Goldsman but David S. Goyer keeps writing for films.

We pee in a society

I’d drink a Sucker Punch... hopefully with a side of 300 nachos

See also: Matt Smith, who may or may not even make it into the final cut of the film

Glad Smith made sure she got her moment.

Pfft, wake me when she has her Nickelodeon’s Kid’s Choice Award and can finally claim the coveted NicKCAGEOT

But yet again, Cabin in the Woods did it better

Definitely agree with Tremblay. Shyamalan loves stories that affirm the power of faith and belief, but as a result he ends up creating a world where a dude has to kill himself so planes will stop falling out of the sky. Why would you want to place your faith in that kind of deity/celestial whatever?

Maybe Cox just didn’t realize what’s been going on. It’s not like he’s had more bad takes on controversial figures recently...

There’s part of me that sees where the entertainment industry is right now and feels like having more ads on streaming services would be an acceptable alternative to loads of shows and services being cancelled every week, but then I remember what ads are like and... yeah, no.

“Brave and courageous” is a buck wild statement to make about cancelling a thing with Brendan Fraser and Michael Keaton in it for tax purposes

More like Bitchman, amirite?

Genuinely excited for Superman and Batman movies taking inspiration from the Morrison runs. And imagine seeing a Batfamily on-screen that isn’t directed by Schumacher

Just gimme those two doofuses fucking around and finding out, constantly

I think it’s good they highlighted how this isn’t just WB Discovery’s doing, even though Zaslav’s obsessive culling seems to be the most aggressive of the bunch.

Seriously though, Gunn... where are all those dang announcements? This was supposed to help get me through Fuck You, It’s January. Instead I’ve gotta subsist on weekly “Avatar 2 made money” updates and dried up M3gan discourse

He learned more and changed his mind. No shame in that
