It’s impossible to say without inside info, but one possibility is that the contracts for streaming various pieces of content cost more than they want, so they’re cutting those out early. It’s the only explanation I can think of (aside from, you know, pure spite) for why they’d remove already-released movies from the

Of course they’d want to ruin the only streaming service I actually like.

Also axed: the nearly-finished feature Scoob!: Holiday Haunt. Which, yeah, I know, but it still ought to be mentioned for completeness’ sake. Plus, Paul Dini was apparently a co-writer, so it might’ve actually been...good?

More like: Warner’s is now a WEIRD FUCKING studio.

2020 was weird year.

also it’s fucking crazy that you can direct the biggest box office hit of 2020 AND a hit streaming show for disney+ and still have absolutely no leverage to get your movie even dumped out without promo.

“As directors, it is critical that our work be shown to audiences”

Five features (not counting Batgirl), two shorts, and several TV episodes, including two for Ms. Marvel, which they also executive produced.

The Scooby movie team also released a statement.

Turns out they didn’t get to.

I’d love it to be that deliberate but odds are he hired shit lawyers who were just that shit. Depp did the same in London for example.

I guarantee Trump made more in donations to the “Election Fraud Fund” between November 2020 and January 2021, peddling the exact same thing.

$800,000 A DAY?! Jesus. For peddling utter bullshit?

Always pay your legal bills!

“Accidentally” sent...

There shall be no Keaton slander!

I honestly think there’s probably truth to the NY Post description of it:

Quick Keaton, allegedly kidnap some children and hold them in a farmhouse with a load of guns and weed. Then they’ll have no choice but to release it!

This is pretty amazing considering the movie was finished and, since it was being released on HBO Max, didn’t really need any marketing budget. They just needed to make it available.
