God bless Marty! Every Marty! of us!

Have your goddamn star.

I’m still not convinced that RotS really intended to portray Finn as force sensitive, and that wasn’t just a ret-con they came up with later to paper over some of the many plot holes.

I just noticed that Kelly Marie Tran is listed in the credits as Rose. Good for her for not being chased off by the fanboy CHUDs, she rules.

We are introduced to this new story by our omniscient narrator, Master Yoda, who explains that Rey has begun training Finn to be a Jedi.

Oh I'm no fan of Reagan either, both were frankly awful people.

British Reagan”: exactly. And not worshipped. Detested.

You don’t think the real Queen Elizabeth has ever thought about the morally questionable acts and downright atrocities committed in her name? The people who died on Bloody Sunday were her subjects. Lord Mountbatten, a member of her family, was targeted because of that symbolism.

I’m going to be so pissed if they have that cliche scene of poor Maggie being harangued by the slavering old white men while look stressed and put-upon.

Was just coming by to say the same thing. I’ve been dreading this season in a way because I am not sure I trust them to handle Thatcher very well. I’m also going to be really curious about how Diana will be handled; I do, of course, have more affection for her than basically any royal (what a shock! what a rare

Yeah, sounds like Anderson nailed it tbh.

Really hope they depict Thatcher as the monster she was, as opposed to “well-meaning but went too far” or even worse, “strong woman who was brought down by angry men.” But given how timid this show has been in its social commentary, I don’t have high hopes.

The episode opens with Elizabeth smiling, and I thought “WHAT IS GOING ON HERE” until I saw she was smiling at a horse. Then it made sense.

Now playing

In both look and performance, there’s something almost drag-like about Anderson’s mannered, theatrical take on Britain’s first woman Prime Minister.

I found these guys on youtube like 5 years ago and they had some pretty solid stuff. I’ll definitely watch this.

Meanwhile, my neighborhood in Texas has never by this quiet.

I'm a Chicagoan too. And I've NEVER heard cheering like this. Its incredible, actually.
