Agree with all of this. If I hadn't read the books (which I came to from the show) I would have given it up by now. S2 is a let down, right to the last.

I have a theory that Moore can neither write for nor direct strong female characters. BookBriana is so irritating and unlikable that Moore has the golden opportunity to turn her into someone compelling yet charming. He just doesn't have the talent to do it.
