Yes post LCI in Blue or metallic-shit brown were very nice to look at!

A star for a chuckle!

Wisconsin is pretty much the same, Although I never thought roads anywhere could be worse than WI, but Michigan wins the worst roads contest hands down.

Touche!

Can I call for pizza from a local favorite joint without every taking my eyes off the road? Yes, then I will find an inconspicuous place to put it.

Given that every manual car I have owned or driven for more that a few minutes have been a rear wheel drive, I would agree that I haven’t pushed a fwd hard enough.

I will give you a star to pull you out of grays. I don’t use the handbrake everytime, but I still find myself using it from time to time.

I distinguish between need and want - at least on this issue :)

Hill assist is one more thing to go wrong when you need it. I am curious if an electronic hand brake will be useful for the hill starts

I have been driving for a couple of decades now and have never needed to use a handbrake for turning,

I am hoping that they will have a less optioned version that will cost a bit less. And also, hoping that they will help bring replacement parts cost down, kinda like how Chrysler did with MB parts.

Oh, good sir, you are blessed with the gift of gab! I chuckled loudly enough to wake up my lovely wife.

Back in 2011 I had a decent job only one kid and about $3500 to spend on a reliable car to replace my aging 1991 Saturn SL2. This beauty popped up on CL about 50 miles away, for only $2600! It was a low mileage example too with just 125,000 on the clock.

Sorry the I could care less about your choosing Bel Air as meh car, because you do you. BUT, this justification you just presented is as pure a BS as possible. Meh car of the iconic cars? The mind boggles at this meh take of an otherwise a sound dude.

Da Fuq? I had no idea all of this is going on in a latch. I will try not to swear at the next BMW e46 latch that goes dead.

+1 for a properly sorted out e39. Mine has 160k+ miles but is the ride of choice in our family when only 4 of us are taking the trip.

Our own David Tracy is working on a similar plan for when he opens David’s Home For Mostly Rust Jeeps, where herds of JLs and Willys will be free to run and climb rocks in their own paved-over field.

My dad’s 1968 MB 200D had a very stiff unassisted steering too. parallel parking was a full upper body workout!
