Counterpoint: Could s severely under-powered, wrong-hand-drive, death trap like a PAO be a meh car?

There is an one owner ‘83 E24 in my neck of woods with no rust and 5 speed shifter. It is very affordable too.

The diamler part of this shit sundae was a turd and a half too. W210 and w220 would rust with a vengeance, and the dingleberry on the top of this was all models in 2006, 2007 were factory equipped with self distructing cams, that required an engine out repair. Define still. All of my m54 powered bimmers (E46, E53, E39, E83) had Vanos, cooling system, plastic valve cover etc. troubles at certain mileage but never seen their straight six engines having trouble with timing chain guides. Was that “feature” introduced later?

I will just wait here until Bimmer Fan Boi squad shows up to poo poo on Audi build quality...
