I’ve done this with kohlrabi fritters (spiralize the vegetable, make batter, waffle iron) and they are AMAZING. The only thing I’d add to the recipe is a suggestion to use kitchen shears to cut up the noodles if they get longer than about 3” because then it gets hard to form cohesive pancakes.

I don’t have kids yet, but my parents had me help cooking at a young age. The process taught me how to follow directions, use tools, measure things, and even some basic math along with the actual skills of cooking. For S&R in the national parks in general, they make you pay if it was your fault (ie went out in the middle of a blizzards, purposely went off trail and got hurt, etc). But you’re not on the hook if you were on a trail and the perfectly good bridge you were using collapsed while you were on it.
