I don't think the actual plot works, but it tells so much about this new Bond, his grief for Vesper and his relationship with M.

Judi Dench's M is so great that I just cannot roll with Ralph Fiennes' M, even though he's Ralph Fiennes. I know she's too young to be the head of MI6, but when they showed Helen McCrory in Skyfall I thought she'd be the new M.
When John Goodman or whoever started talking about ancient monster lore I was like "wait, is this a secret cinematic universe?" and I thought they were setting things up for Brie Larson and Tom Hiddleston to go hunt the Kraken and such in the future and I wasn't completely against it. The movie was dumb fun.
Yeah and I like Susanne Bier, but it's gonna be a really tough adaptation.
Why does it seems like all alternate history plots are about the Civil War and WW2? At least The Years of Rice and Salt exist.
I find the remake so charming. I rewatched it a while back and Harrison Ford still seemed like he gave a damn back then. I bought the romance completely.
Also, Something's Gotta Give, goddammit. It's a pretty crappy movie overall, but who in their right mind would trade Dreamy Doctor Keanu for Jack Nicholson?! It's infuriating.
Andie should have chosen herself. I secretly always wanted a sequel set in college where Steff learns how to be an actual decent human being and gets with her, but that's my Spader crush talking.
Damn right on Four Weddings and a Funeral. I think even if someone else had been cast instead of Andie MacDowell, I would still root for Kristin Scott Thomas.
This season did not work for me at all. My favorite thing about S1 and even S2, was the Hardy/Miller partnership and they really dropped the ball with them this series. And the caseā¦ yeesh.
Black No. 1.
This show was a blast. And since the CW love to reuse its actors, here's hoping we get to see Adelaide Kane, Megan Follows and ridiculous Craig Parker again.
That poor dog looks terrified.
Sure, be a pedant.
So you mean they're both valid? Because those are all valid criticisms.
That excuse always strikes me as weird. What kind of disservice could possibly happen if Spielberg had put a mother looking for her kids in War of the World instead of a dad? I mean, apart from saddling an actress with a bad movie, I guess.
Yep, Luther is fine, but he only really interests me when he's around Alice.
S4 of Fargo, I hope.
I don't care, I love this ridiculous soap opera.
This has always been a pretty hopeful show overall. Those people are some extremely damaged fuckups, but each season has ended with Kevin getting the family he wanted with Nora. I think it would be a bummer if the show ends differently.
