Thanks for that.

[SPOILERS] Really, there should be a Spoil Space for this show

It's almost like he watched a different season than I did. I finished it yesterday and some of the stuff he criticizes, like how the show is all about good and evil now, doesn't really fit with what I saw, like how the Resistance acted pretty much during the whole season.

Travelers is actually pretty cool. I heard Netflix bought it so I hope more people give it a shot. The show does time traveling in a really cool way. The Americans comparison is pretty ridiculous, but it's a solid scifi show like 12 Monkeys.

TNT's Good Behavior. Michelle Dockery playing an ex-con thief and meth addict and killing it. And she and Juan Diego Botto have the best chemistry I've seen in years.

The thing about Smith is that I never got the impression that he really buys into the whole genetic purity thing (or maybe I'm just forgetting stuff from S1); it's just that, as a soldier, he'll do what he's told. He seems to buy into the "good" parts of the Reich, everyone working together, being a community, etc,

Rufus Sewell tried for a while to do American tv and it was always in the shittiest shows so I'm glad he finally got a meaty role where he really shines. I really want more backstory on him because going from american soldier to nazi top dog is quite something.

Honestly, I was more interested in Jason Isaacs than pretty much everyone else. Like, holy shit at that reveal that he had another crazy scientist buddy that was doing the same shit he was doing.

It should end with her killing him and turning to android Michael Sheen all "We have a couple of decades to fix my broken pod."

Me and Overboard.

That was so stupid that I just pretend it didn't happen. Just how I pretend Landry never hit that guy in season 2 of FNL.

This show was terrible and yet I'll still probably watch this for Maggie Siff.

Her mom is fantastic. During that scene where Letty calls her and we're introduced to her I was like "oh, so she's gonna just be the abusive mean mom" but she's so much more than that. I loved the scene in the last episode where Letty tells her she feels awful for finding her own kid annoying and her mom is like "He

So great to see Michelle Dockery on the list. It pains me that Good Behavior in on TNT and getting no buzz whatsoever because it's such a fun show.

It's so great to see Halt and Catch Fire so high up. It has such a great season. But I think my favorite show of the year was The Americans followed by Underground, Westworld, The Expanse, Good Behavior (super fun noir-ish show on TNT that's getting zero attention) and Superstore.

Travelers is way better than Timeless, IMO. It's not perfect and I feel like casting Eric McCormack was a mistake, but it feels way less goofier than Timeless and with a much more intriguing mythology.

Is Stone even winning any of the other awards? It feels like every Best Actress award I read about last week was given to Huppert.

My biggest wtf was at Sarah Jessica Parker being nominated for Divorce while Thomas Haden Church wasn't. He makes that show. I like SJP, but with this show I basically suffer through her so I can watch him.

I watched the pilot a while back and it was so much fun. Dockery is pretty great in it and the chemistry she has with the hitman is bonkers. Which is good because so much of the show relies on them having chemistry.

Yep, I rec'd this show to people and always said how great Eva Green was in it and how well the show treated Vanessa. How she was the sun all other characters orbited. But fuck that ending. I know it was rushed and my theory was that Showtime told John Logan they would not be renewing the show when the season was
