In Northeast Ohio, nothing is given. Everything is earned. You work for what you have.
At one point, Spruill allegedly received a lap dance that was "approximately 3-4 minutes long."
He was almost certainly directed to referee an open game, given the number of Brazilians with existing cautions. Neymar's encroachment on that free kick and the ensuing no-card was pretty laughable - had he not already been on a yellow, he'd have been carded immediately. This is why FIFA is so reluctant to introduce…
My friends and I sat in the very last row of the top level for the USA Germany match and the view actually wasn't that terrible! Getting there was an absolutely horrific nightmare. Not quite "genocide" horrific, but at least "2014 USMNT World Cup Home Kit" horrific.
Opportunity to get Shigeru Miyamoto's attention to make any game and you ask for a remake? Come on!
"Hilariously sad?" They look no more sad than anyone else would after watching their team lose.
Agreed. I thought she was one of the least likable characters in the show and one of the weakest performances, as well.
Could have handled Bloodraven with makeup - they didn't need to go all Phantasmagoria 2 or anything. At least they could have given him a freaking eyepatch and put some rouge on him or something.
I'm disappointed that they changed up the Tyrion/Jaime/Tywin scenes, but not surprised. They've whitewashed Tyrion since Season 2, after Dinklage won an Emmy and the producers decided they needed someone the audience could consistently root for without reservation or complication.
They could have just thrown that scene in the tent into the pre-episode recap, like they did with Melisandre telling Stannis he needed to go to the wall. Or they could have just done it like in the books, with Jaime telling Tyrion he owed him a debt, then being all "remember that chick Tysha…" People would have gotten…
LSH is also OH F STARK REVENGE MACHINE GET HYPE, which would have been on the exact opposite end of the spectrum vs Dany crowd surfing in terms of visuals to get people to freak out all off-season.
No, we're not sure of anything (other than his being ultimately unsuccessful, unless we depart from the books even further), but why didn't he immediately say "sooo take me to the kid?" Weird.
Blood relative or not, a Stark hostage is worth money. Will be interesting to see how they explain the lack of real effort, here.
Yeah, sort of a confusing departure from the books, even if that laugh was great. No way he would give up that easily on a ransom if he got her all the way to the Bloody Gate.
None of those are examples of dealing with betrayal, though (excepting maybe the fact that Stannis is a lunatic who thinks anybody who doesn't recognize his reign is a traitor). It's one thing to offer a hand to a former enemy after the fighting is done, it's another to forgive your right hand man for spying on you…
You're assuming Tywin is actually Tyrion's father…
Some slack? She could have executed him. Instead, she lets him off with exile. What was she supposed to do, just say "oh, well, you had your reasons and it seems like you're behaving now" and get on with life as things were, keeping him on as an adviser even though she'd likely never be able to fully trust him? Come…
Too soon for Brienne to meet Stoneheart. I figure we'll meet her hanging that one Frey, like in the ASOS epilogue.
Mordred's armor is the most BALLER, you mean.
