Ford Credit is particularly bad for many reasons, including this; I refuse to ever deal with Ford Credit again.

5th gear: Proof we must resort to robust regulatory and/or taxation schema to save our planet’s future, because capitalism will certainly never step up and do what’s needed before it’s far, far too late.

This was definitely entertaining, but the first thing I thought of when I thought of “new car styling features that I hate” is how modern cars just have big flat plane circles around every single wheel arch. No matter how shapely or beautifully detailed a modern car’s bodywork is (and some are very lovely!), you get

When you discuss interior quality, what trim are you discussing, 1LT, 2LT, or 3LT? Besides talking about driving a non-Z51 non-magnetic ride car, and briefly sampling a magnetic ride car on an autocross car, this article gives no context about how the car tested was equipped or where the as-tested model sits in the

Super nice! I held out for the S, manual, and brown interior on my 2017 but had to settle for gray instead of the blue. Alltrack S Manuals are IMO the practical sleeper enthusiast cars of choice, anytime I see another one I get WAY too excited.

Nah I already can hear the mental twisting of the libertarian: “the businesses and community must be kept free from the tyranny of protestors!” And I’m like 99.999% sure I heard that argument A LOT. Throughout this thread, you’ve pretended that you are some great exception to all criticism and you have all the

Lovely B) BMW had two greens at that time, Oxford Green (dark) and Gray Green (light). Our family friends had a 2001 X5 in the Gray Green, and it was always a lovely choice...more interesting than the “achromatics” but never shouty, garish, or offensive...but I am such a sucker for that dark, rich green.

All I ever want is green, but I can NEVER get it because it’s almost never offered! q_q

First gear and neutral: at this point, I think Musk’s vision and business processes (save earth; vertically integrate everything and reduce costs by order(s) of magnitude) are well understood enough that they can live on in Tesla without Musk. Musk seems like more liability to Tesla than asset by now, and it’s been

Why go back? I still have most of it memorized ><

Not only was Matt’s countach the one that was used in the remake of the Cindy Crawford photoshoot, but it was also used in the original too (before he owned it, obviously). That’s what makes the Crawford connection extra cool...it was the original photoshoot car, AND Matt worked with (got to work with?) them on the

You’re right, and for those reasons I don’t expect CA to ever get as cheap as the rest of the nation, but I must admit I thought we would have dropped more than we have by now. FWIW I am also in the bay area.

Wonder if CA is ever going to get in on this...a month ago, prices dipped from about $3.50 to $3.00 and now we’re still in the high $2.xx range for regular, $3.00+ for premium.

I’m super unhappy with State Farm. A year ago I tried to get my mileage adjust down, and they refused. I tried again 6 months ago and they said “oh you can’t do this now, you have to do it on your anniversary”. I was like “...like I TRIED to 6 months ago, and you REFUSED?” My agent professed innocence and ignorance.

I feel like coronavirus is a scenario where there probably won’t be a lot of pent-up demand...some, but by and large lots of people are putting less miles on their cars, and that reduced mileage means people are going to have less need of a new car than they otherwise would.

This demonstrates that right-wing believers are looking at a different scale than the left. The left knows that (not always but mostly), if you assist and help others, they are enabled to become happy, productive members of society. Social welfare program recipients “take” up until the point that they are re-enabled

Far-right wingnuttery is a parasitic force (people taking from society without giving back) that transmits virally. I would like our society to adopt a war-like stance against far-right wingnuttery and treat it as the deadly killer contagion of stupidity that it genuinely is.

Short of the front grill being far too large (a common affliction on modern cars - schnoz gigantism), I think this is a fantastic piece of automotive design, at least in photos. It’s lots of A7 and CLS mixed together, but IMO definitely more successful than any CLS, and while the A7 is pretty, the Hyundai feels less

I was juuuust looking at these the other night! This is slightly more than the ones I found, but it’s in much nicer shape. 3.8 post-facelift R-spec 6MT is the one to get. NP!
