I like the way the i3 looks outside, but I LOVE the cabin. LOVE IT!!! I love the materials, the space, the design, everything, it’s great!

Toyota tries to sex up their cars but somehow they always end up beige. Probably selling hundreds of thousands of the same thing every year is a factor.

I’m all for it conceptually, in practice...it’s OK; the more refined a system is, the more I like it. I rarely find them offensive enough to want to turn them off.

Personally, I have a big soft spot for Button’s 2009 Monaco pole lap, but it doesn’t quite deserve to be on the all-time list. It was the first full season I watched, I really grew to like Button a lot in that season; I think recognizing, in the moment, that that was a very special, zen lap that looked so serene

My ‘94 Miata I bought ~18 months ago has always been full of spiders, I think it even has black widows living in it judging by the webs. Kinda ironic because it’s a crappy black respray over an originally red car, and the red paint shows through in a couple spots...

We’ve had to learn something to respect about the Smart to handle the cognitive dissonance of why it exists!

BS like this is why I’ve grown to hate The Root, despite being a huge, huge ally for the rights and lives of colored people. I’m a gay white man, and I am a huge feminist and anti-racist. The woman who died in Charlottesville was a white ally, nearly my same age, standing in harm’s way for the rights of colored people.

It’s consistent with the character of someone who’s higher on the autism quotient (autism quotient scores being high only correlate to actually having autism a small portion of the time, but almost everyone with autism has high autism quotients); it comes down to a set of factors. He’s exceedingly utilitarian in his

If the reliability is there, this is awesome! F1 has been developing HCCI just in the last few years, and for this to come to the road so quickly is pretty impressive. It supposedly is a significant benefit to the efficiency of the burn, requiring less fuel for the same power.

...I’ll admit, I’m not above running full speed with a spare donut on. I know how to drive, I know how to torque a wheel on properly, I’m going to deal with the tire promptly, in the meantime, it’s fine.

Yeah it’s way better for tire marketing than political thought! Like...shockingly good. I’d buy me some Conservative Firebrand tires! You can have the Conservative Firebrands...

I am choking on the reasonableness in this article. Far too much sanity. Where is the drama? I’m bored. </2017>

Great article. Uber and Lyft are two companies that are great examples of a more widespread problem: the idea that companies are more and more emboldened to utilize private resources that they don’t own or have to maintain (e.g., people’s personal vehicles) for their own profits. The onus of the depreciating asset,

It’s a great road, along with Felter-Sierra, one of my go-to driving spots for sure. Sad that Calaveras is closed due to a landslide right now (I wanted to drive it through recently!)

I’m born and raised in San Jose (south SF bay area)...always growing up, through until about 2015, it “took an hour to get to San Francisco”. Then we realized it was taking two. Now...it’s two hours to get to San Francisco. And god forbid you try it during the worst hours of the day, your trip could easily be longer

A televangelist crossed with a mobster, which is saying something, because a televangelist is already a preacher crossed with a mobster.

Trump is going to work with the best people, trust us, it’s gonna be faaaaaaantastic.

From my first track day in 2006...instructor vehicle, taking students around the track. He hustled it good!

Put me in the camp of people who knows this will blow over quickly, they will look better when integrated into the design of the cars, and the first time there’s an accident that tests one everyone will be rushing to be first to praise it.

Interesting stuff. I remember reading up on my old MkIV VW GTI’s sound system and they claimed they used the door panels as bass chambers to give strong bass and good response...it actually worked quite well, it was a good sounding stereo system, and I recall it being on a couple top 10 stereo lists back in the day.
