Put down the pitchfork, this is a story with fuck all for substance.

I’m all for hating on YouTubers but this is common in Wal-Mart and other grocery stores. Vendors (which he likely can sell himself as as he owns the product) are authorized to go back and help to find their merch and pull it to sell. I used to do that all the time for multiple merchandising companies.
Every single person he annoyed had something better to do than help him make more money. Fuck this guy.
I’m reminded of Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy when it comes to Scott Pilgrim at this point; the creator is directly involved in the adaptation process, and each iteration has drastic changes made that they themselves approve of.
It is as satisfying of an ending as both the movie and the comic.
It feels complete. It has one line towards the end that could be taken as “These characters could set up the season two plot” or “These characters are simply back on their bullshit.”
Scott Pilgrim is essentially the comics version of 500 days of Summer. People like it and relate to it for the wrong reasons without understanding the core of the story is that Scott is shitty.
After watching “Dial of Destiny” I wished I could use the Dial of Destiny to go back before I watched “Dial of Destiny” and get the time back.
I saw it last night and I feel like I’m going to have to go through it like the Zapruder film to really get all of the references.
You know, considering how awful and intrusive Kotaku’s ads are on mobile, I think it’s kind of hilarious to see you calling out what is fairly benign (albeit also still pretty crappy) compared to your own site’s ads, which are massive and page engulfing.
At least Superman died in his own comic, and not less than a decade after he was created.
Nice to see the legacy of The Death of Superman is still alive and well, 30 fucking years later.
A correction on Sabrina’s entry- Psychic isn’t weak to Ghost in the first generation games. It was supposed to be, based on the type chart and other media, but due to a programming error Psychic is actually immune to Ghost attacks.
Amazing how people feel entitled to products that work properly and contain the content that was promised.
Yes. Is “make sure the game is actually playable before you release” really such an unreasonable expectation?
This is maybe one of the top five worst takes ever posted on Kotaku.
Darkeater Midir is IMO the most difficult fight in the souls games, but it’s well-designed if you fight him as intended (from the front, with a big melee weapon). The only thing “bullshit” about him is his monstrous amounts of HP - so that after like 10 minutes of chipping him down he then busts out the lasers that…
What, no Bed of Chaos?
His reaction is just having seen it 10 minutes before, preparing his reaction, and then reacting even harder than that to make sure every rational person on Earth wants to do him grievous injury.
After watching that clip, I’m reminded less about the Queen’s death and more about the fact that all Twitch streamers have to performatively scream every 30 seconds to entertain their 12 year old fans.
