Why should ‘they’ ? The city isn’t responsible, it’s not their bridge. It’s not the railroad companies fault, the have a steel beam in front of the bridge so that the bridge itself doesn’t get damaged.  The only damage is to the vehicle, being driven by someone who isn’t paying attention. So who exactly should cover

It’s a public bus route. You can’t close it for box trucks and still allow buses under the bridge.

Trucks can turn either right or left before they go under the bridge.

They could, if there wasn’t a main drain a few inches below the asphalt. Since it’s not the city’s bridge that keeps being hit the city has no incentive to spend the money and move the drain for a problem that isn’t theirs.

Maybe it’s just me, but why does that matter? You spend more time driving it than standing there looking at it. Who cares what it looks like, it’s meant to be a functional vehicle not an art masterpiece

I love mine. Had an ‘04 that I put 200,000 on, went through a couple of other things in the meantime (including an F250) before getting a new ‘17 a few years ago.

What in holy hell is Gwyneth Paltrow wearing?

Aren’t there rumours of a new Rebels season/spin-off? Thought I saw it in the last few weeks

Or in the Rebels sequel ...

And the only decent picture you could get to accompany the article shows a bus in the UK ?

Yes, it’s way more complex than that. Did you read the article in question?

He obviously didn’t want to say the obvious answer, the original sucked so bad he was hoping everyone would forget about it before he unleashed his sequel

And now that I’ve finally had one, it’s definitely not worth it.

Some not-so-well-known vendors still make 4G/5G flip phones

Yes, but since your upgrade options include WinME you’re better off sticking with Win95 :)

20 years ago we had multiple suppliers, and each had hard/soft/wet tyres. It wasn’t rocket science then, it isn’t now.

No, they get 1 point because 1 driver came 10th place in 1 race all season. But I like your explanation better!

There’s a term for that, “renting a car”. I don’t see why any manufacturer would offer what you want, since they aren’t in the car rental business. They want you in their for months at time, not 72 hours.

It’s you :)

Is that what passes as humour in America these days?
