Whoin their right mind ever EVER walked into a dealership, at any point in time, and said “That’s it, that’s the one for me, the one with the red interior!”. Maybe it’s just me but red has never been an ok choice in my book. (Yes even corvettes)

You’d be amazed at how many 4wd Tercels are still toting around hippies down in AZ.
Commercial vehicles are MUCH more scrutinized at the borders. In az I saw more commercial trucks pulled over than cars, about 5 trucks for every car.
Hasno one else noticed that never, and I mean NEVER do police pop hoods? Over the Mexican border they may but not in the states. Seriously, go buy a fuse box from a junkyard from a similar year car (so it doesn’t look too shiny or too dingy) bolt that sucker in the back center of the engine compartment (high and…
I can’t believe I don’t have a sound clip, but this ranger I had had a 4.6 out of a crown Vic. Handbuilt headers to dual 3” exhaust to dual flowmaster 40’s exiting just in front of the rear wheels. Sounded like a cammed out 5.0 (not even a Ford guy but it was better then sec blasting through tunnels).

Ford should just say F@#! it and throw pop up headlights on new Mustangs. Maybe even have airbags pop out of em in case of a pedestrian collision.
Is no one going to touch the fact that there is a Volvo Model Cars Facebook page?
There’s a P1 in Deephaven MN that drives around semi regularly. Once I saw it followed by three Porsches (not sure what they were, but they were gorgeous) playing around on highway 494. It’s awesome to see cars like this being driven and enjoyed on open roads.
I can’t find the website, but I was in a commercial once (not an actor) for a fake police car. It was basically a fiberglass or plastic body, with the Windows painted to look like a cop was sitting inside with all his gear, sitting on a trailer frame that had the same wheelbase as a crown Vic. The idea being that law…
My cars tend to be found in places they were never meant to be.
Not sure how much I trust the site, but...
The problem I see with midsize trucks is that everyone wants all the bells and whistles. Just look at the interior differences between a ‘91 Ranger and an ‘01 Ranger. Why can’t someone build a small, simple, light truck? I’m talking the Chevy Spark of pick ups. Fleets alone would buy them. Use the drivetrain out of a…
Can't guess what the things worth, and I love my Rangers, but hot damn I want a Brat. It's a more kickass mini el Camino with all wheel drive! I can't imagine tearing through the desert in one of these things with two youngsters screaming their heads of in the rear seats.
For 8k I'd want some doors, I can't imagine hitting any kind of chop in that thing...
We bolted a wrangled rear bench seat in the back of a Tahoe we had for an awesome rear facing removable bench seat. The thing rocked, perfect for kids or the Times when you really want 7 people in a truck (I hate suburbans).
Fuel tax revenue goes down, registration costs go up, at least that how I see this playing out. One thing I'd be interested in knowing I'd the estimated "lifetime" of a gas car vs that of an electric.
I'm still waiting for the day I can print body panels in my garage... Or at least fiberglass molds.
A buddy and I stopped by Moab on our senior road trip between MN and AZ... In a '97 Maxima. We took right through the off-road park and down a few jeep trails.
Serious question: if your an American, with a US license, and get a ticket in Canada. Does it go on your insurance? If they suspend your license in Canada but you have a US license is it suspended in the states? I'm asking for a friend of course......
