You don’t have to get me to love it. As a kid who grew up riding dirt bikes, it was all I wanted to do. My old KX 250 left me broken, battered, bloody, and begging for more.

I grew up watching Ward and Johnson go at it in the 80s. Then we had McGrath and Enig take over the show. Man, those races were awesome!

When it is 100+, I wear a 3/4 Shoei RJ Platinum R, because, it is freaking hot outside! Unfortunately, here in Texas, it is 100+ for a full two months, as a minimum. Back in 2011, we had 103 days in a row of over 100 degree temps. When it is not the surface of the sun out, I wear a Schuberth C3.

I’m actually in the

Therein lies the major issue. We shouldn’t be using ground water for industrial/agricultural purposes. Ground water is replenishable, but at a very slow pace. Surface water, on the other hand, is quickly restored by rain/run-off. That is what we should be using for industry as it is a renewable resource.

Probably, it will take years. Then again, maybe not. In the month of May, we had the highest rainfall ever recorded for a single month. It literally filled our lakes in one month. We got a whopping 17” of rain in one month. So much rain, in fact, we went from “Extreme Drought” to record flooding. Since I’m a profession

I could not care less if you blot, but so help me if you pick up a knife and fork....

During our drought here in Texas, I became a firm believer in the “IIIYLIM/IIIBFID”, we also put buckets in our showers to catch the warm-up water (used that to flush the toilet, mostly). We change out 10 gallons of water per week in our aquarium: that was used to water our plants and keep our trees (mostly) alive. I

More specifically, the Airmen were deployed there from the 39th Airlift Wing out of Dyess.

I hate cats because, well, cats are assholes. That said, I’ve kept a cat for years - just to keep allergic family members from inviting themselves over. I guess I’m an asshole, too....

Here are a few things I’d love to see you guys review:

My wife loves her Olympia Airglide 4 jacket. We’re both fans of Olympia jackets. Well-built, adjustable, great airflow on the mesh with both waterproof and thermal liners.

The kick-off team (or, as my HS coach called it: The Suicide Squad) was my favorite part of the game. Even when I was a senior varsity starter, I still stayed on the SS. I absolutely loved running down the field a break-neck speed and crushing someone running at me at full speed. Ahh, to be a 17 year old

If gas prices go back up to >$4 per gallon, you’ll see more bikes on the road again. *caveat: if the economy flops at the same time, all bets are off.

I commute with my bike because 1. I’m a biker but 2. My bike gets 40+ mpg and my F-150-biker-murderer only gets 18ish.

Two words: Dark Side.

Exactly. Here in the US, multi-generational homes went from the norm to the exception in the span of one, possibly two, generations. When I was growing up in the 70s and 80s, it was absolutely normal for the grandparents to live in the home or, if not, on the same property in another home as their adult children and

While that is “technically” true, it is an absolute farce in reality. Example:
I’m going to privately fund a company that makes widgets and gizmos. I tell them that my money cannot be used for gizmos - only widgets. They go “SURE!”
They have a budget of $40 for both production lines. I give them $35. Their other

I wouldn’t even have them if I wasn’t trained on them. You are correct, though.

I’ve done this several times as well. None of my vehicles have dealership decals on them. If I am looking at a vehicle and it already has a decal/emblem on it, I ask them to remove it as a requirement for me to purchase it. If they decline, they are effectively declining a sale.

I’d ride the ever-loving hell out of it...IF someone else purchased it for me.

I linked one that is decent, but, frankly, it is best to build your own. First find a container that will fit on your bike and is easy to carry to the victim. Then fill it with essentials:
#1 GOOD gloves (I use 9 mil nitrile glovesfrom Harbor Freight)
#2 Blood clotting agent for deep wounds
#3 Sterile bandages
#4 Good
