If only they were made by GM or Ford. I only buy ‘Murican.

You must have been one of my friends back in the day.
I spent 8 years of my life flying in C-130s (as a loadmaster). I miss manly metal toggle switches!
Agree with all of this, but I want more. What I covet is a vehicle with nothing but mechanical switches. No soft keys. No electronic bells and whistles. Just simple, two pole On/Off toggles for all of the electrical doodads. Can I have that please???
I still make Santa Maria style tri-tip BBQ a couple times a year and I left that place in ‘97.
As someone who has driven a combine with a 16 row picker head on it down the road: don’t drive like an idiot on a rural road in Iowa, and you won’t get crushed by my tractor.
Like I’ve mentioned here before, I miss being stationed at Vandenberg. The sheer beauty and raw power of our world-ending technology is awesome - in the truest sense of the word.
Fun tip: if you want your brand-spankin’ new Lodge skillet to work as well as Great Grandmas’s did: strip it, polish it, re-season it before using. The new castings are very corse now. I took an orbital sander to our new ones and put a mirror finish on the cooking surface. After that, I re-seasoned them. Perfectly…
He’ll always be Snake Plissken to me.
I’d be a happy guy if both Bristol and Sonoma/Watkins Glen were in the Chase. Personally, I don’t think there should be more than three of the cookie cutter, 1.5 mile super speedways in the Chase.
The truely sad thing, to me, is the fact that I know I’ll end up watching this movie - not in theaters, mind you, but I know I’ll watch it. Family Guy is a guilty pleasure of mine. I actually enjoyed A Million Ways to Die in the West. I’ve never seen the original Ted, but, like this movie, I know I probably will - and…
Why did I picture this?
I am! It is the perfect vehicle to tow my travel trailer while comfortably carry my family and my gear when camping. A SuperDuty Crew Cab can also accomodate, but I lose seating and a secure place to store supplies.
My solution: just don’t have kids.
Hope Solo would like a word with you...oh..wait
Online courses are a good idea. Personally, I’d expel the student until the court case was completed. Then again, that could get abused pretty hard core by a vindictive ex-lover. Which brings me back to my first sentence: online courses are a good idea.
Why are schools investigating them at all? They are a criminal matter. The police should be handling it. If convicted, there is a permanent record. If acquitted, then the person is not guilty. Or is that just too logical?
Yes, my wife and I are looking forward to our sensible retirements at age 57. We DINKs are awesome!
I wholeheartedly agree. My wife and I have been married for thirteen years and we still have people look at us as though we have a third arm growing out of our foreheads when we tell them that we aren’t having children. This isn’t the Third Reich or Soviet Russia. We aren’t *required* to procreate!
Rabbit and squirrel taste pretty much the same to me. Growing up in Iowa, as soon as we had our first hard frost, I’d start rabbit and squirrel hunting. I’ve eaten a *lot* of those rodents.
