I’d buy the absolute FUCK out of this. Sure, a manual would be more interesting, but this is a cruiser, and I already have a lovely 90s Honda with a 5 speed.

Neutral: Do You Consult Consumer Reports When Buying a Car?

My 2007 G35 Sport sedan is a car that I often tell people “I will keep until it explodes” - she’s at ~166k & doing great. I often fantasize about replacing it, sure, but every time I drive it I remember why I keep it - the handling and that lovely VQ35HR.

I just want to give the car a hug. Like “hey lil cutie, you made it”

25 yr old car-loving millenial that can also drive the “millenial anti-theft device” chiming in. We exist!!

Is that the one that sat for like 20 years or something like that? Heartwarming tbh

10/10 would bathe here

a 400E / E420 is on my list for the future!

Driving with their FUCKING high beams on at all times ESPECIALLY somehow always behind me. The absolute cluelessness/disregard is incomprehensible.

2-time 124 series owner here, a 94 E320 and an 88 300CE. I have an eagle-eye for these cars.

has a nearly indestructible MBTex interior

Recently fixed my “lie switch”on my Honda. Now it does what it’s supposed to, instead of nothing at all.

“I just wanna go back, back to 1999"

Aspiring architect chiming in - Volvo pls.

I think I recall them dialing it back to a 10k interval in the years following. He just takes it to the BMW dealer every time so we’ll see how it continues to age I guess. I change the oil in my G35 at 4k, primarily because of Atlanta traffic.

To be fair, my father has been adhering to the 15,000 mile interval with his 2012 328i and that thing is totally fine at 155k. No burning, no leaks, no noise.

Dirty girls gotta get clean.

Considering driving my 1990 Accord there from Atlanta...

I’ve definitely backed up a little at lights where I may be peeking over a crosswalk, may have been a similar case.

Good candidate for a tasteful wheel swap.
