So how long do you think before you take it to Moab?

That’s certainly not “better”

Nope

Half the time I see that with 4WD vehicles, it’s from people who don’t know that they manually have to activate 4WD. That’s another hurdle to actually making the most of all your driven wheels.

Really hope your car has all wheel braking though. If it doesn’t you should definitely get that checked out.

You should be a good son and take it off their hands.

I never grow tired reading your short stories about your 850. A much younger me passed up on a $1,000 850 as a potential first car. If only I knew how awesome they are!

I daily Drive my BMW 850 and it has 207K miles as of today. Had to reset the ECU yesterday because of a Check Engine light that comes back about once a month

I keep trying to convince myself the entirety of human civilization isn’t on the precipice of something truly terrible, and I keep failing.

Ideally those could be taken directly to the crusher without anyone making the mistake of buying one.

a peeling, disintegrating door card”

Well, if you’re competing against the E36, you have to benchmark all the features.

This particular comment thread is a prime example of how to be oblivious, think you know better how to do something you have no clue about, and then continue to bury yourself to the very end. You started out with a “I have no clue about this sport” and finished it acting as an expert on how to make the sport you know

Go out there and do it and come back and tell us all about how easy it is.

I would say as part of prepping is also removing any loose items in the cabin and trunk. The last thing you want is said loose item to bang around and damage the car, or you. :p

I did Autocross for a while using a prepped Fiat 124 Spider that the Fiat Club kept. It was fun but I couldn’t bring myself to flog the car. I kept thinking I’d have to fix it if I broke it. My wife had no such reservations and so did very well. Much better than I. In the end spending all day at the track in order to

Nice vid guys, very important to focus on the safety aspects of car prep. A good club will have a decent check-over at scrutineering in the morning as well. Follow the checklists for car prep and you can’t go wrong!

Fair price for the market I guess? I can’t understand why anyone would want to spend that much on one of these, but apparently people do. I’m a bit bothered by the fact that the warning lights are passed off as minor issues, but the seller hasn’t bothered to just get them fixed.

Wow username checks out.

Steadying his massive elephant rifle against a well positioned rock, the ‘Housing and Zoning Inspector’ for Troy Michigan, calmly emptied his entire stockpile of high-powered ammunition into the engine block of the “Excursion” Jeep.

NoTimeToulouse’s entire post was just an excuse to trash Elizabeth. He’s probably the kind who complains on Road & Track Facebook comment sections when they re-post an article from a few years ago.
