I’m a millenial with a very strong interest in cars. My parents, however, could not care less. They take very good care of their cars, but that’s about where the interest ends.

That makes a lot of sense, I didn’t immediately think of that. Thanks for clarifying!

That seems more realistic. Also, not a great number.

22 MPG highway with the diesel motor? Is this motor working hard at those speeds?

I am fine with the automatic in my Infiniti, it rev-matches downshifts and is generally smooth when you’re relaxed, and snappy when you’re feeling frisky.

Architecture school made me do it as well. My handwriting is always screaming, not unlike my inner monologue.

Sonatruck works equally as well.

I noticed the sedan’s horrible rear-end proportions recently. The rear wheel looks comically small as a result.

I commend the officers for their situational awareness and for how quickly and safely they brought the car to a stop, this certainly could have ended much differently.

Fellow Atlantan! I live in West Midtown and wrench (mildly) in an apartment building garage. I feel your pain and hope to eventually get into a place with a garage like yours.

Peter, I live for your articles. Also, I wish every wrencher were as thorough and dedicated to the craft as you are.

What even is this? I thought my 2007 G35 sedan had a lot of window area until I added a 1990 Accord to my stable, there are NO blind spots in that car. Granted, I’ll probably die if it rolls over, but w/e.

Loving that there was a Previa in the background of the 2002. Total Jalop street.

I’m trying something different from here on out because I get a half-dozen emails a week “How do I participate in WCSYB?” and it seems everyone misses this link in the second graph so I’m moving it to the bottom. Editors, please delete this blurb but keep the below stuff at the end of the post.

I saw a government vehicle here in Atlanta with the first three letters “PEE” & I regret not taking a photo.

I also need a drink, or seven.

I was super into it, saw the C-pillar, and now I don’t know what to feel.

I actually saw an ELR on my way to work today, and did a triple-take because I forgot they existed.

Acura Beak strikes again.

My personal theory is that they’re intentionally conspicuous, for the “look at the expensive fancy shit my car has” folks.
