Literally yesterday I walked onto a VW lot and asked to look at one of their five or so manual Jettas that I saw on their website. The salesman dismissed me instantly and said they didn’t have any, and the sales manager came running around the corner like “WAIT-WE DO. WE HAVE A FEW” and I almost cackled.

the part of me with two design degrees is troubled by this, but the part that owned a 944 is warmed <3

*thinking out loud* was the choice for a 4-cylinder also done from a maintenance perspective? I personally contemplated this recently while doing the valve cover gasket on my Honda and its I4. On my Infiniti’s V6 you technically have to do the same job twice since there are two heads.

Conversely, I can’t think of anything I want LESS than this. Except maybe a venereal disease.

blue longroof blues.

Whenever I see one of these, I can smell the “crayon” smell. Same for early New Beetles.

The check engine light was my sworn nemesis on my first car, a 1997 Jetta. I was immensely triggered reading this article & now I need to lay down.

Hmm, perhaps a visitors pass? I’m sure it varies with management, but my building will issue a pass for our garage, although our spots are not assigned.

Mack, this is whack. Pls get your parking situation on track.

Maybe Corvettes are just a really nice place to eat lunch & we just don’t understand??

UPDATE 4:30 PM: I just spoke on the phone with Tyler Chevrolet, who denies that the Tupperware was theirs, maintaining it was already in the car. The tech in question that day reportedly goes to Burger King for lunch every day, and has never brought his lunch to work.

oooOoo she a Daft Punk fan

What’s y’alls favorite driving songs? Not necessarily of all time, but currently.

also a gay man, I agree <3

I’m a millennial (age 24) that is into cars! We’re out there, I promise. I also definitely went to the Radwood event at Road Atlanta.

She’s the best. Absolute jalop as well, LOVES to ride in the car!

hey Jalopnik staff, love y’all to bits <3

Here in Atlanta, overwhelmingly so. I actually rode one for the first time this Monday. I like the concept, just not the fact that people leave them in the middle of sidewalks/roads/etc.

CP because the damn thing is on CRAIGSLIST.

Reading these raised my blood pressure, I think I need to lay down.
