Hoping you both never have the misfortune of experiencing that sort of injury.
Hoping you both never have the misfortune of experiencing that sort of injury.
Were you burned by the heat, or from the friction of the bag itself on your skin?
When I was learning to drive, my mom did that all the time. I showed her a video with a diagram of what happens to your legs if the airbags deploy while you have them on the dash. She has NEVER done it since.
Here to say I totaled a 1985 944 by t-boning someone who ran a red. No airbags in mine!
I heard the estimate was closer to eleventeen billion, personally.
Could I propose a “cleanest cars you’ve ever seen” topic to cleanse us of this refuse.
My brother did the reverse of this drive, NY to Seattle, a few years ago when he moved. It was in his 2003 Accord that at the time had probably 240k miles (now 280k). Literally nothing happened.
The ad screams “I bought this from an auction thirteen seconds ago”
I can’t decide whether to be impressed or horrified.
Didn’t notice that at first. Amazing.
I’m screeching.
True, I’ll accept that.
Fair, but there are definitely far more issues with Ford cars (you even mentioned the DCT) than the specific ST I referenced.
I’m trying to imagine walking onto a Lincoln dealer lot & seeing this sold alongside the Navigator & Continental.
I will agree to it being anecdotal, that is absolutely fair. Unfortunately I know there are fairly widespread issues specific to the model, and I know another guy who suffered the ringland failure in his.
a friend of mine has a 2017 Focus ST that has been at the dealer about every two weeks since bought November last year, and is now being bought back by Ford. I’m inclined to believer that they axed their cars because they don’t know how to make them.
I just threw up in my mouth a little.
I believe I read it on C/D. 2019 gets a new 1.3L turbo, but loses the stick.
Side note: RIP manual-transmission Renegade
My brothers first and only car is a 2003 4-cylinder) Accord with 280k miles and original auto transmission still shifting perfectly. Our mom bought it new, gave it to him a few years later, and he’s never desired to replace it. Literally everything works.
