Black Anodized Metal is like the perfect material for electronics. As long as the black dye is integrated into the material (rather than just a coating) so that scratches also appeared black...

Man, I'm having trouble installing the Arcs geeklet. Anyone else having trouble? When swapping out the "Location of Arcs Folder" I enter "/Users/callen/Dropbox/Customization/Geektool/Arcs/" and for the "Location of Arc Geeklets" I enter "/Users/callen/Dropbox/Customization/Geektool/Arc Geeklets/"

I was playing with iOS5 for a while, but ran into a bunch of bugs (including Google Maps working so slowly as to be unusable). I downgraded back to 4.3.3, which you can easily do. Just follow these steps:

My thoughts exactly. One of the biggest reasons I hated using my Droid (before switching to the iPhone 4) was that scrolling was so choppy throughout the OS. Android has always had trouble with it, and I guess WebOS does too.

Wow, this looks like a really cool - I hope they come out with a version for Mac!

I wish someone would figure out how to remove the Firefox title bar in OS X... I really only need to see what tab I'm on and that's it... no URL bar and no title bar. Who really clicks on the minimize, maximize, and close buttons anyways??!?!?!

They simply bought out the ad space... Goldman doesn't sponsor each of the films individually. American Express was the sponsor beforehand, but again, the films are completely independent. Give it a try!

@caseychan - it's SnagFilms, not SnagFilm. Thanks for featuring this app - I'm sure a ton of fellow Gizmodo readers will really enjoy it!

For those thinking of going on a diet - my wife and I are doing the spinach/almonds/eggs/rasberries/yogurt diet (basically you can only eat those ingredients in any kind of meal combination you want). She lost 5 pounds in 3 days and we both haven't noticed a drop in energy. The only side effect I've noticed is that

Wait, so it's safe now to bring it in to get a new one? I have really bad light bleeding going on and have been waiting until a new batch comes out....

Hey guys, happy Friday. So a friend and I started a website project a year ago called nuevoStage and we just won the Rethink Music Conference business plan competition last week! The $50k prize is nice, but I'd love to hear what my fellow lifehacker readers think of our project. Basically, we'll be the first

What a great article. I've been meticulously backing up my DVD and CD collection to iTunes in order to stream to my Apple TV, but having the ability to screen share and access my entire iMac remotely is something very valuable to me. Thanks again!

I mean I already wear a Movado, so this wouldn't be much of a difference. In fact, these are better because they have ticks for each hour whereas my movado is completely black.

Wow this is one of the most incredible nature videos I've seen... this guy knows what he's doing.

They may have just turned the postcard market around... I just ordered two! At $0.99, it's pretty easy to justify sending an image you took to someone else.

I think the best apps are the ones that accomplish one task extremely well. I don't usually want the kitchen sink - just perfect one thing and make it easy to learn and present it clearly. I have something like 200 apps installed on my iPhone - if I want more functionality, I'll switch to a different app that

Does it come in black? Oh right, it's basically impossible to change the system titlebar fonts to white.

We grew up... sucks, I know

I fully agree. I wish there was a setting where I could have my lightroom photos saved to my camera library but remain in lightroom.

Nice post image! I could care less about 4G... I mean, unless you're commuting a lot, don't most people use their phones at work or at home? If so, aren't they usually on wifi? Is 3G really that slow?
