Is it simply easier to use than RivaTuner? I'm wondering if I should just start using this since it's a cleaner interface than RT.

I love it!

@skadoosh: Hahahah that's awesome! Emperor Moxie

@Rett Gerst: Thanks! I've been thinking about getting it ever since this post came out... I guess I can get it now!

@Helvetica: well played. Totally not over yet

Proximity Sensor fix. I could care less about iTV and iPods.

When I looked at my iPhone and saw this, I said to myself: uh-oh

@w00tmonger: But don't you think the $200 price tag with contract will remain the standard for top-tier phones for a long time? I'm betting the iPhone will stick with their $200/$300 lineup for a long time. People are used to these prices, and they'll continue paying it for any smartphone.

@leaderbuilder: Hahah, yeah I'll stay away from dick utility - it rarely works.

@leaderbuilder: hahaha. I ended up re-installing OSX on my old hdd taken from my Macbook Pro (I upgraded to 7200rpm drive after I bought it). I'm all set!

This is depressing/hilarious:

@w00tmonger: Hahaha. Wow. All I'm trying to say is I wish at some point, Apple made an iPhone with a unibody enclosure. With the antenna outside the enclosure, it doesn't matter what material the enclosure is made of. I doubt aluminum is more expensive than the glass backing that is currently on the iPhone 4...

@RuckingFetard: Well Apple is going in the direction where the antenna is integrated into the body... you're right its not aluminum (its some form of steel I believe).

@w00tmonger: Is there a better reason to build it out of plastic? What's wrong with aluminum? The unibody enclosure is more durable than a plastic case in that it has less parts. When it comes to electronics, the less breakable-parts, the better.

There shouldn't be any holes in the device. Apple should put more R+D in Stereo Bluetooth for music and inductive charging for power. Updating content over wifi is clearly on the horizon, but I would love to see the iPhone 5 as a perforated slab of metal (like the MacBook Pro unibody).

@the_podfather: Even as an American, I totally agree that "football" doesn't make any sense. And why do we call it soccer? Oh well, I don't think its ever going to change...

@psychiccheese: Very true... I figured the ridiculousness he's achieved over the years has made him an international figure.

Can't he tell someone on the sideline to tweet for him? Would that be against the rules?
