@Grewal: My first mac was a 17" powerbook... awesome, awesome laptop. Super heavy, but really powerful and had a fantastic screen. If you have the money, I truly believe its the nicest laptop money can buy.

@delightt: I wonder if those proximity sensors for deer work for raccoons. You know, the onese that emit a super high-frequency tone that bothers animals? Maybe stick one of those by your trashcans...

I apologize for posting the same question from last Friday, but I still don't have a definite answer...

Definitely Pandora and NPR for me.

How the hell did you get the titlebar black in ffox in OSX? I've been trying forever and can't figure it out. It looks like its a persona too...

Thats actually kinda cool... I might buy one since its only $9!

@kondrik: Great suggestion, but my mobo does not have onboard video. I'll snoop around in the bios to see if I can find anything that may need to be toggled though :)

@wjglenn: Maybe Ill start over and reinstall the OS on my HDD. Ill then install the nVidia drivers for my 9800GTX and then let Win 7 install the drivers for the 6600GT. I'll also stick the 6600GT in the PCI-E 1 slot and the 9800GTX in the second slot.

@cha0tic: If I split it, wouldn't the displays have to be mirrored? I'm not sure how the gpu would recognize a dual-link dvi being split.

@cha0tic: I did try that once, but I'll try that method again. According to nvidia, the latest driver for sure supports both...

@cha0tic: I'd go with the 5870 if the damn thing fit in my case... 10.5" is the max and I'm already maxed out with my 9800GTX! Supposedly the 480 is also 10.5"

@Justin L.A.: I live in Chicago and really like it. I'm used to the cold (went to school in NH), but I don't find the winters to be that bad. Get a good North Face jacket and stay indoors when its really cold or really hot. It gets pretty dry in the winter here too, so a good humidifier is key (for me at least).

Problem: I have three monitors and a 9800GTX. I can power two of the monitors with the dual DVI ports, but I need a secondary card to power the third. I've tried using an old 6600GT to power the third, but can't get it to work in Windows 7 x64. Any ideas how I can get all three monitors working with my current

Does anyone else have ffox 4 working in osx? It looks completely broken on my mbpro...

I saw this the other day on the L... pretty crazy looking. Yeah, its ginormous.

This is fantastic news. The last time I went to the dentist I had 10 cavities filled and a billion brain cells killed due to N02.

@Omega13: Hahah, nice. That's what Apple is working on :)

Yeah, I wish they would put out fennec on the iPhone, but I don't have any problems with Mobile Safari. I use Ffox on my Mac and PC and use sync regularily, so I hope this gets approved!

@NetLogic: Its both of their faults. Yes, the antenna is attenuated when you hold it left handed - not a big deal to me since I hold the phone in my right hand most of the time. Apple should have tested the integrated antenna more before releasing the final product, but it works fine for me.

I say screw giving away free bumpers. We wouldn't have this problem if ATT had a better infrastructure. ATT should be giving away free microcells with iPhone 4 contracts!
