So is that guy supposed to embody your standard Linux user? If a Linux user wears a dirty beard, a mac user is a hippy douchebag, and windows=suits, then who will be the Chrome OS user?

Woa, I kindof like those left-side tabs... why don't other programs use that?

@Jojitsu: Yeah I'll check out insanelymac again... I took a look at some of the tutorials a while ago and figured it was a bit too much work. Then again, I may just want to try the new Chrome OS before worrying about SL. #bootloader

@Mister Eee: Yeah, its even weirder on the pc - holding down the right click while tapping and holding the left click is just awkward. Then again Infinity Ward hates PC gamers, so I guess that makes sense... #openthread

Anybody else test falling off the cliff in CODMW2 at the beginning of the Ice Level? Game is awesome so far, but I'm still a sucker for Crysis (although my desktop can run this game a hell of a lot better than Crysis) #openthread

@Phoshi: Thanks... should have known that. Doesn't make much sense to me, but oh well #webbrowsing

@ckcallen: Not sure why my links are weird - for some reason the "@" tag makes the entire sentence a broken link. #webbrowsing

@philosopher_dog: I like having the OSX menu (I've got iStats running), but hiding the tabs would save as much space as the window's titlebar... too bad hide tab bar addon is for older ffox versions! Great suggestions though, thanks! #chrome

@TomWolf: I stick the object dock at the top of the screen and keep the taskbar at the bottom... but that's how I like it. You can make it so minimized windows are displayed within Objectdock (as thumbnails), but you'll still have the taskbar (you can always autohide). #desktops

@Jojitsu: What eee do you have? I've been thinking about putting SL on my 1005HAP... #bootloader

I think Chrome uses the best use of a small screen (my 13" MBPro screen, that is)...

The architect, James Cutler, was one of my professors at school. Really interesting guy... his other projects are just as cool. #billgateshousetour

@TomWolf: I know Stardock's Objectdock works fine with my Win7 x64... try that. #desktops

@wjglenn: Call me crazy, but its kindof like vacuuming - somehow its therapeutic to me. I'm with you though, all documents/media/etc are on a separate physical hdd, so I never have to worry about that. And with Rainmeter 1.1 being so easy, its quick to get that up and running! #security

@Buster Friendly: Because I want to start completely fresh. Programs like Ninite speed things up for the little apps, whereas photoshop and office take a bit more time. It only takes me a total of an hour from start to finish, and I only need to be at the computer for 10 minutes of it.... #security

@Buster Friendly: Every two months... after I posted I realized bi-monthly could me twice a month rather than every-other month. Even so, I'm crazy. There's something so refreshing about installing a clean OS. #security

I've been pretty impressed with MSE so far. Thanks to Ninite, its the first thing I install on my bi-monthly refresh of my OS (yeah, I'm OCD) #security

@ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNO-TOAD: I'd be happy if I was able to get 10.5 installed in the first place, so I'm going to try the method @leaderbuilder suggested. I never tried patching the [dsdt.aml] file - I just removed it from the /Extras folder and that seemed to get the installer to get past 50% most of the time.
