Ford Contours last for-fucking-ever. They seriously seem more durable than Crown Vics or most of the trucks on that list. My wife had one in high school/college, and it was a hand-me-down to two siblings, then gifted to a sibling’s friend, then their girlfriend.

Yeah... anyone who claims they’re going to bring beltway traffic to a standstill has clearly never actually experienced the DC beltway. I’ve been in crappy stop and go beltway traffic jams on Saturdays. 

Another way this protest is aiming at the wrong target:

Afghanistan didn’t have nuclear weapons, that is why we were more active post 9/11. If the Taliban had a nuclear arsenal, then you can bet there would be a lot more uncomfortable shuffling. Also we were in NATO, and Ukraine isn’t.
