Probably - but they’re also a private network.

Recently did a 1k mile road trip - ended up costing me about $70 for charging during the trip.
The Supercharger network is a large reason why I bought my Model 3. No fuss, no pause, bills through the car, and fairly well serviced.
Hence the Model 3! I don’t mind an hour of charging in an 8 hour drive at all, but more than doubling it for the Polestar, which would end up costing more, is just a bit hard for me to swallow.
The biggest difference is charging speed and time between the two right now.
I’ll scream it until it happens. I like my Model 3, but the second Volvo makes a 300 mile EV, and the EA network improves by 30-40%, I’ll happily trade in the Model 3.
I have a Model 3 Long Range now, the selling factor was the Supercharger network.
Can confirm - parents have 2x Outbacks. They’re both just over 60 and I’m the only child (albeit now living 1k miles south and nearly 29)
Nope - this is purely infotainment. Autopilot and related runs on another. There are between 50-75 processors in most Teslas. Varying by year, model, and some options being included or excluded.
Any straight piped VQ.
I am surprised that none of the other ones stopped.
Also, these are so overbuilt - they’re amazingly durable. Change the oil and watch the Papier-mâché front bumper in the cold and it’ll treat you well for many, many hundreds of thousands of miles while doing 40mpg+.
I haven’t been in one yet. They’re bringing them to ATL next month and I’ll sign up for some time in one.
I’m definitely still interested in this. I drove an XC40 Recharge and considered coming home with it that same day, but the C40 looks so stunning that I had to wait to see one in person.
Roughly $400 purely on fireworks!
The bike was ~403lbs wet - little GS500F. Hitch carrier was another 100lbs.

I’ll second that - I had a 2014 4WD Limited for a while. That car had no right to handle and ride as well as it did. Easily could do 1000+ miles in it with a motorcycle hanging off the back.
Ghent, Belgium. Where the XC40 both gas and Recharge is made.
Absolutely! Happy to provide one for comparison!
