I don’t quite understand the juxtaposition, either. Like...Katt got into some SHIT, back in the day.

I don’t know if she was trying to stay in “character,” but it appeared Ms. Davis still wouldn’t shake Jost’s hands as the sketch closed and the cameras were going to dark. It was after the last Coretta Scott King, they did the close and as the camera pulled back he stuck his hand out and she remained hands folded.

Yeah, to be honest. That.

This is one of those storylines I just look at and go... jeez, that doesn’t seem very enjoyable for anyone.

I think Xavier having his beliefs properly challenged is good, but I think there’s a million more interesting ways to do that than ‘hoho what if he killed everyone’

Marvel’s obsession with committing genocide over and over again is more than a bit unsettling at this point. With how often its come up its seeming like the message that Marvel is trying to send is less ‘genocide bad’ more ‘minorities aren’t allowed nice things and if you start to get happy we’ll kill you all off’.

Cara Dune died on the way back to her home planet.

RiB/FiR.

Too bad we’ll never hear a speech from a salty internet-nobody like you, I bet you’d show everyone how it’s done properly, champ!

still find it hard to believe he’d kill himself.”

Oh my friend: Welcome to Transformers Headmasters... which sounds like robot porn but is not.

It kinda depends on what iteration you’re reading, but generally ‘gender’ is more an expression of capability, function and culture rather than genders in the biological sense. There are, for example, cultures where the vast majority of Cybertronians are ‘mech’ or ‘femme,’ simply as a result of what the builders

A take I heard a long time ago in a forum discussion about Transformers Gender was that it probably wasn’t a thing when they lived on Cybertron, but that when they came to earth & learned our language & changed their bodies so they could change into earth vehicles they were also learning our culture & figuring out how

I’ve always assumed that all of the cybertronians were non-binary, certainly some of the cybertronians were more masculine and some were more feminine but none were ever traditionally binary-gendered. Certainly the show runners weren’t thinking too hard about this but still I never read them as gendered.

TRUKK NOT ENBEE!!!

The Transformer toy fans can be EXTREMELY toxic, to the point of being a bad joke. So, any parents who want to share their love of the franchisee, be warned.

What annoys me about Dave is that he is confident he's right.  He just keeps doubling down and acting like he's being reasonable while hanging with Joe Rogan and people like him.  He isn't unaware of systemic problems in the US, he is okay with not always being funny and his writing skills are top notch.  Yet this

The reality is that Kanye was never really a Billionaire to begin with. A future deal isn’t really an asset. That’s like saying that someone is a millionaire, because they make 100,000 and will get paid $1M over 10 years.

One specific campaign put it plainly: that their aim was to “Make Kanye West a Billionaire Again”. But ultimately, their campaign fell short after only earning five dollars and was subsequently shut down.

Because Morehouse playing them legitimizes what is at best a scam and at worst a weird ass cult.

It was. What will really trip you out is I can’t find anything about the the real Thomas Washington online. It’s like they erased him.  You can find dinosaur bones online.
