From a concept stand point, the whole idea of even having such things as timings as such a fundamental point of the game seems wrong and outdated. An RTS is about warring armys ,tactics, strategy, deceit etc. Not getting a single unit out a few seconds quicker or working on your build order. An RTS should not be

Funny enough, my mind went right to FFVIII as well. Really the first ‘modern’ FF I played (I missed the boat on VII) and I was sucked into the enormous world almost immediately. Sure some of the transportation can be a pain, but it was gorgeous.

Gentlemen, I give you... THE BRISBY DOME!!!

Xenogears did a great job of world building. It’s a shame it didn’t get to fully explore the ideas it set forth. You also didn’t mention the dope track that is the theme of that place!

The point was to highlight a point I made in the review, to expand on it, to put it in the context of our other coverage about Nintendo’s Virtual Console and to encourage discussion about it in the comments below. It sure felt necessary to me!

To point out that Nintendo is missing a huge opportunity to make money by not properly marketing and selling their classics.

Oh, I’m sorry, you’re right, we should just be happy that Capcom is a piece of shit company that no one likes because they make a little more money that if they actually put in effort.

Frankly, that looks stunning. The PC modding community will never cease to amaze me. It's a shame that a company like Capcom will never realize how much money they could make by simply catering to fans with as much passion as this.

Somebody should remake CAPCOM.

I’ll tell you why that is for me. ‘cause I don’t wanna play video games with not-as-good looking people, be it male or female. I just don’t. The same way I wouldn’t hang an ugly painting in my bedroom. It’s not aesthetically pleasing. They’re not real people, they’d don’t have to have the issues I have. I don’t wanna

It’s usually like $2.50. What does price mean other than money? lol

I have read TKAMB at least a dozen times—a number of times during my own education (throughout middle school, high school, and college), and then a number of times during my brief career teaching 8th grade language arts. I’ve never enjoyed the narrative, or the story, or the characters, or really anything about it

I can confirm that Kratos is a complete monster in every single game, and I feel deeply uncomfortable controlling him as he murders innocent people pleading for their lives.

Yeah, I’ve stopped feeling anything when I kill people anymore. These days, I have to do something sexual to make it fun again.

I barely made it past the first boss in GoW 1. Going into the game I thought the story was kratos was accused of killing the God of war (maybe he did?) but either way the gods are assholes and he’s gonna punch, kick and stab his way to prove his innocence. Or something along those lines. I kill the hydra and I think

I didn’t like killing the mostly nude girl (I think she was Posiden’s slave girl or princess?) with a gear. Then being encouraged to eyeball her mangled remains for a trophy. It wouldn’t have felt so shitty if she wasn’t ridiculously sexualized while you were doing it. That disgusted me quite a bit, and I wasn’t happy

I’ve felt this once: Spec Ops the line. Little known game underrated gem. There is a certain moment where you must do something to save yourself and progress. You will know if you have played it.

Please, Devil May Cry is an amazing series compared to this. Though I don’t think God of War is a ripoff of it either, it’s simply another game in the genre.

This post is largely what I don’t like about God of War because Kratos is not an interesting character, his story arc is not copelling, and hes not even a good anti hero or villian, hes the embodiment of internet rage in gaming form and in the end nothing in this series is ever really interesting its just brutality

stay classy Konami
