So the latter is bad because it is sexual and not powerful. Sex is inherently worse than power? The act of procreation, a biological imperative is better than something that can be utilized to commit mass murder?

Actually, I do not mind a slideshow at all. Did work with Dragon Age, works with Fallout as well. It's ideal for any RPG with a lot a variables.
Considering fans write their paychecks, it should probably be their top priority to keep them happy.
Yes. We have heard of the Indoctrination theory because every time there is a discussion about Mass Effect somebody comes in and says "Hey, guys! Have you ever heard about the Indoctrination Theory? It's really interesting"
Is Kotaku just trying to troll people by choosing this image? Considering it is the clearest visual representation of how your choices ultimately don't matter?
A handful of cheaply done drawings that sort of reflect a few of the things you've done patched in after release is not what I would call satisfying.
It's what I consider to be one of the big contradictions of the series, one Kapshyrn seems to support. The Reapers originate as Elder Gods, and 'Reapers' in the literal sense, they seed civilization, let the vines grow on the lattice they have built, and then harvest when the time comes. What we call civilization they…
Exactly. There is a big difference between an unstoppable and unsympathetic force of nature and a bunch of robots with guns. The entire invasion thing came across as really underwhelming. The devolution of the Reapers was one of my big problems with the Mass Effect series.
From the beginning they said Q2 of 2014. It's probably going to run longer, because they are Obsidian and could not make a deadline to save their lives, but I am fine with them taking as long as they need to polish it (And with no publisher rushing them they can).
The guy is clearly doing what he loves and really happy with the people he works with. I see no shame in that. I like it more than publishers releasing carefully thought out paragraphs of buzzwords attempting to advertise their game to as many people as possible. He is visibly invested in the project and happy that it…
Then perhaps they should not have advertised something they could not provide? Besides, plenty of games do it, Dragon Age, the Fallout series, just a set of images and text with voiceover stating the impact of your actions across the galaxy. Totally feasible. But ultimately providing a choice that has little to…
I think the large misinterpretation here is that people expected a variety of endings because we were promised a variety of endings, and we wound up getting red, green, blue, or yellow with the dlc. This is pretty much due to the departure of key writing staff members over the trilogy and EA rushing the game (a fact…
Actually, I think what people expected was multiple endings, since you had 3 games worth of choices that ultimately resulted in only 3 ends which were more or less the same. People expected a variety of conclusions, because that's what we were lead to believe.
They really could have chosen a better picture of Link to lazily silhouette, one that does not look like he is stabbing himself or holding is sword in the most awkward position possible. It's very Robin Hood: Men in Tights
I'm saying the game sucks for reasons far more fundamental than tone or graphics. A firm foundation of proper gameplay mechanics if (often, although I could name many an exception) necessary to make a good game. Basically, doesn't matter how the game looks if it's a pain to play in the first place.
If it was a good…
Thank you. You have restored my faith in humanity.
Funny, my first exposure was both Metal Gear Solid and Kotor, so I found it jarring hearing her without an british accent for the first time.
His design never really bothered me so much. It's a big, over the top fantasy game. He was really lacking in the personality department, though, which is reflected nicely in the blank look on his face.
I know he originally wanted to use 'Space Oddity' as the end credits theme of Metal Gear Solid 3, until he was recommended a band called Sailor Star....Which he misconstrued as StarSailor, which got us 'Way to Fall'. It's safe to say he's a Bowie fan.
I really don't get the rage at all. It's not like it's mandatory to give money to a kickstarter for all people who use the internet. It's somebody asking for the money and people giving them it. And if you give someone money anonymously you kind of have to accept that you might get ripped off.
