I didn't know Zelda wasn't woman friendly. And that a game must have a female protagonist in order to be woman-friendly. I am not opposed to the change at all, it's awesome. Your statement is just ignorant.
Some people just like to play the game alone. They are denied this option because of the DRM.
I prefer this to the J.J. Abrams "What villain, we don't have a villain in this movie, don't ask us questions!" They aren't insulting our intelligence here, they put a lot of money into this movie and they want to get fans into seats, so they are promising the goods.
This isn't exactly what you would call a war though. It is more of a 'fight so that all of civilization is not extinguished from the galaxy'. Shore leave doesn't make sense in this kind of war, especially when they are hopelessly outgunned from all sides. They need all forces fighting on the front lines at all times…
Sure, sounds great when you have two political bodies competing over resources, but considering every 'shore' is under threat of complete apocalyptic annihilation along with the rest of....everything...by giant space bugs, It looses its practicality real quick.
Sounds like the developers ruined it by making a shitty game. I mean, unless you are the type of person who is shallow and defines a game's worth by it's graphics.
I am also tempted to reitorate the Mass Effect 3 defense: Audience expectation (I.E. A good game that is fun to play) should not bear down on a developer's artistic vision(I.E. A game that is playable that people will give them money for).
I agree that sexism should be pointed out. But it seems there is no sexism to be found here. They just put the project heads up there and they happened to all be men. It's sensationalism, not journalism.
Will it allow cross-platform play? I really want to be disappointed on my PC while my girlfriend is disappointed on my new PS4 and my sister can be disappointed on my old PS3.
Don't you mean the Playstation IV? Does Kotaku not know how roman numerals work?
How was I not obviously trying to be ironic?
When I was a kid, Deadpool was a really cool background c-list character who would occasionally pop up and do something awesome. When you put him in a game he was a super-secret character because he was so damn weird. And we liked it that way!
Well, now I know who not to make snide remarks about the prequels in front of...
"This guy seems like an okay person."
However, there are plenty of other games that do feature co-op. I feel like RE needs to go back and be a horror game again, and its very hard to do that if a bro has your back constantly. It would be nice if they made it optional at least.
Dude, I stopped after the first one. And considering I have absolute faith in EA's capacity to ruin everything good, it was a reasonable assumption. Especially considering it is what Resident Evil has decided to do.
If I am correct, that other player functions on AI in the standard game, completely ruining the sense of solitude.
Isn't fighting a battle the first thing you do in Final Fantasy X? Like, a long chain of battles 15 minutes into the game, counting cinemas?
Its sad that it has been over a decade since we have had an arguably great Final Fantasy game (Final Fantasy X, hence why I said arguably). I got into the series in 2001 and played all the classics on my PS1. So there has not been a great Final Fantasy game since I started playing. It's kind of upsetting.
