I'm looking at the comments and realizing so many feel the way I do. That this is a tipping point, and somehow Star Wars has gone from overexposed to completely whored out because of this. Its bizarre that somehow this is a line that has been crossed...But it kind of is.

"These critics are a bunch of assholes. They're WAY too critical."

Devil May Cry? :D

"People are stupid and I don't understand it." That pretty much sums up you entire post there. Whiny, childish, unable to accept that most people don't like a game you do. Grow up.

Nice opinion you have there. Pity not everyone agrees with you. Maybe you could work on getting used to that.

Because if we don't criticize them when they fail they will not know that they have done so. When people are dissatisfied with a product it is their duty to criticize it so that the people who produced it will work to improve further releases. Kind of one of those cornerstones of the capitalist system.

Fair, but at least it had the original team, managed some decent scares, even if it started to leave the realm of survival horror.

What is the point of a review that ultimately reaches no clear conclusion and tells the person to play it?

Yeah. I think I am just going to hold on to my $60. Games are really too expensive for me to pick up ones that get either universally bad (This one) or universally meh (Like Dragon's Dogma).

Its never just length, its pacing. If a game is poorly placed and kind of a grind of constant combat, you get exhausted with it and it feels longer than it actually is.

2-3x shitty is till pretty shitty. Also, I thought a true RE fan enjoyed RE 1,,2,3,CV, and 4. I didn't know the parameters had changed.

Yeah. The main difference being that the first 4 still had Shinji Mikami at the helm. Since Capcom seems to hate its own talent, I don't see 7 taking an upswing.

Thats why I liked the Brian Singer approach: Push ahead in the timeline so what was old is new again. Its why TNG was such a success, the Klingons and Romulans felt new, and there was a great new rogues gallery (Cardassians, Borg...to a lesser extent Ferengi) which filled out the universe.

Women don't care about the blade size. That's just a myth. Its the hilt size that really matters.

Actually, seeing as the episode was meant to take place ten years after they first went adventuring with the Doctor, the episode should be around 2020. So I have no idea why they have a Wii.

Yeah. You must have missed the first trailer.

Funny how selling itself is the only thing Diablo 3 got right.

Perhaps we should get companies realeasing any good JRPGs before we add a touchscreen to the mix.

The sheer vitrol of your statements has brought a smile to my face.

I wouldn't consider it a big fucking deal that a company finally caught on a few years later than every other company on the planet. It's not a selling point if everyone already has one.
