How fast is the auto focus on this little guy? Just curious if you tossed it up in the air—soft of like those sphere camera's I've seen on Giz—would it focus fast enough to get good video on the way up and down?

I do find it interesting (and not great), that the Home/Lock Screen app eats up so much battery life. Mine shows 23% over the past 7 days (and similar on my iPad). You'd think the lock screen and home screen (springboard) would be one of the most efficient things.

Definitely happy to see the battery monitoring, it's been helping manage those power hungry apps.

That 1.1 GB update is a compressed file. It needs space to uncompress it, create a temporary install directory structure, etc.

I'd agree to think carefully about putting it on a 4S. During development, each beta release was pretty sluggish on the 4S compared to the 5-series devices. That said, I'm sure the release build is much more optimized now especially with debug code gone, but I bet still pokey—haven't given it a try yet with the GM…

Exactly, the driving noise is a distant second to the crunching of trash noise from the hydraulics, and the way they toss garbage cans around. Not to mention when it lifts up a metal dumpster and the lids fly open and they shake it to get all the crap out. But yeah, thanks for the quiet drive.
