Can I ask y’all a sincere question? Why would you invest your time and money in a lego model rather than buy an actual scale model kit? I like Reynold’s work, so I read the first of these despite knowing it was a YA. I didn’t really enjoy it, but that was most likely because I’m not a YA. Some interesting ideas in it though.

12 years and a few months. The season finale flashed back 12 years to just after the apocolypse (explicitly stating the jump), the flashed back a further ‘few months’ to before the apocolypse.

I am reminded of the Brian Aldiss short Story, “Who can replace a man?” where the robots carry on doing agricultural tasks even though all the humans are dead. Aldiss didn’t really consider self-repairing robots though.
