I actually really like this car. CD4 is an excellent platform, and between the 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 and the AWD system with the Focus RS’ rear differential, the fact that it’s transverse-engined may not even matter. You know, I wonder if all this “behind the scenes drama” is real, or created by the BBC to keep interest in the show.

My car is kind of the opposite. It is “Carbon Steel Gray”, but usually looks greenish or even blueish depending on ambient light haha. Only looks properly gray a fraction of the time lol.

It may be terrible for spectating, but it is hands down the most exciting racing that I’ve ever seen shown back on TV. Do they still do the recap shows? If so, who shows them in the US?

A few thoughts:

Problem is they had enough money after BMW separation to handle V8 era. But these V6s are so expensive and the aero has changed that prize money and base sponsors just isn’t enough.
