I wouldn't just go around recommending Stalker to anyone. It's one of those tough movies. You can't just hand it to anyone and expect them to appreciate it. 90% of people won't I'd imagine. It's almost like you need to be conditioned for it.

Then Modern Warfare 2 happened…

Yeah, it's such a weird anomaly of a movie. I've read reviews where each actor is pointed out as a good performance. I've read Kidman was the best, I've read Cusack was great, Efron. Here it's Gray. Although they have mostly all said its horrible.

The Paperboy is quickly elevating to Must See levels. It sounds so awful in all the ways Precious was, but this time, so transparent even those who were fooled by that movie can join in on the fun!

Yeah, I've seen both Faster Pussycat and BTVOTD but none others. This feature gives me literally zero perspective on what his career is like on a larger scale, where to go next other than don't bother with that serious film and his later work (which is curious since Rabin notes his distinct use of color which I'd

Disagree. Tarantino's segment was the only segment where the character talked to them self rather than voice-over. Plus cool flashlight color trick.

You're right… women are stupid.

Isn't that standard fare for the show? Whenever there was any sort of event, it was always familiar characters attending, regardless of whether or not it was in character.

@avclub-9581964fb9f07c57d5dacb12ce6d6b30:disqus Steady decline? I wouldn't say so. Aside from having the full creative freedom to continue to create and develop his own characters he is working with Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino. Hugo alone showed a whole different side to him as a more Peter Sellers like

If Leo doesn't smash someones skull in with that hammer, this just isn't a Tarantino movie that I want to see.

That's funny because I just realized while clicking on this article that I forgot that she was in Iron Man 2 at all and began an internal debate whether she was or I was just imagining it.

Agreed. This is one of my fav episodes, and the ending is a real knockout. The slow pace of the scene, the composition of the final shot and the music AND THAT LIGHTHOUSE.

HE SUCKS

Criterion takes public domain movies once in a while and does proper restores because they know their brand/quality assurance means people will shell out 70 dollars for a movie they could legally get for free.

Poor Clint…

But…….. she worked with him again on Marnie. So you know, he did fuck her up emotionally and career wise, but not quite as drastic as you suggest.
