I prefer Step Brothers. But I prefer Anchorman even more. I prefer The Other Guys much less.

Was shit.

So… basically Todd just gets to tweet TWICE as much now?

All I know is Maya sucks.

Ok people, big action movies use the BRAAOOM sound as many have done in the past but no one noticed or cared. This also in: action trailers use fast, incomprehensible cutting of action/explosions/female bodies to get us stimulated. Lets comment every time that happens too!

Except you don't know HOW they die, that passage explicitly spoils the entire character arc. Fucking amateur hour.

What the fuck is a financial portfolio

More fat, illiterate people though.

Interesting, I always thought Canadian film had a lot of fucking… sort of like we're overcompensating for something.

He doesn't love you, he loves the site. Settle.

Yeah he's not racist at all - progressive even! But he's definitely got misogynistic tendencies, as the other men of his era, but again, he's more progressive than his peers with the capacity to see women as equal.

Every season of Mad Men has been better than the one preceding it: fact.

The awkward moment when that isn't a woman…

I wouldn't say better personally. I feel like they've mined pretty much everything from Don's past, the more recent flashback episodes have focused on adult Don and the young Don ones feeling less essential. He's definitely one of TV's most complex characters, but his world is smaller than Tony's. Tony balanced so

It's more than likely, especially given the varying tones of the dialogue, that's its drastically cut for the trailer to give us basic context. I think it's fairly obvious the dialogue is more fleshed out in the final film…

He probably called her Hollywood scum and proceeded to complain about everything.

Go to Metacritic.

What good reviews @avclub-a9dbf6c70f867fb5d09900f7bab79c25:disqus ? This is the only good review I've seen for this movie. It's getting trashed.

I was thinking this after seeing the local subway system peppered with ads. Generic Helvetica typeface that just says JOHN CARTER over a still from the movie featuring some unknown monster and some guy running.

Awkward when Andrew Stanton just gave a TED talk about the importance of good storytelling, then his movie gets trashed a few days later for poor storytelling.
