Really? No it's not a stand-out year but these movies are mostly good, if not great. Artist, Hugo, Paris, Tree of Life are all outstanding. In my opinion I guess. Let the Oscar backlash begin though!! Record time folks!

Yeah, and AV Club is of course extremely biased against certain celebrities. Not that I am a fan of Cook really, but even if there is another side of this story, which there could be, it's not like O'Neal would report on it.
