Well from the few episodes I've seen of these recent seasons (like last four years) Bart and Lisa have become major players in the shows plots, but they are pretty much all without character that this review establishes in Bart. He's not the "lovable punk" any more.

Considering he's in about 3 episodes, I can't imagine it would.

Ebert is nothing to me. He was once interesting and his points at least had merit. Now he just yaps about seemingly nothing as if his mind just scatters away from what he was writing about. But he's Roger Fucking Ebert so the Sun-Times just prints whatever he writes because why wouldn't they?
