Exactly my thought. Someone put some effort and time and money in here; why not go all the way? I like it, just wish they’d ironed out the rough areas.

This car could be in mint condition and it would still be a shit box. This was not a good period for quality at Chrysler - the interiors were garbage and I simply wouldn’t trust the powertrain. With this car, there are three different shades of red in that one front end picture, and the rear bumper looks off too. This

Edmunds’ long term Dodge Dart was some of the best low key comedy car journalism has ever produced. Literally every update was some component failing, the high point definitely being when the inner layer of the windshield spontaneously shattered. They took it to the Dealership who told them that they obviously broke

Man, I can’t believe it’s been 12 years or so since they came out with this car. The styling holds up pretty well, I must say. And though never a fan of Dodge, I do kind of like the look of the Dart.

Would only buy a Dart from a Magliozzi.

Yeah, that’s a ND from me dawg. The dealer speak screams curbstoning, and that paint mismatch on the the passenger front fender sure makes it look like it’s taken a pretty good hit up front.

Damn, I kinda like it. I actually really like the one that is like a pastel color one. There’s one near me that is three door, pastel green with white roof and white steel rims, and that looks kinda good. I don’t want it, but I like it.

Bring it on, but if we’ve jumped from late 60's to late 70's nostalgia, Ford better have a deal hammered out with whatever private equity group that currently owns Eddie Bauer by 2026.

It’s like an over the top Heritage 4Runner:

I was trying to remember the name of these things the other day. I always liked the looks of them.

I always thought they looked pretty decent. They made another X5-based model before (maybe they still do?) that was sort of like a beefier-looking VF8 and was actually pretty sharp

Damn, there’s something in my eye.....

Gotta star a Ssangyong reference

I get excited when I see a 2003 with the 1 year only grill and front fascia.

Maybe they should use that as part of their marketing “Better than a Cybertruck”

They were such sturdy little cars - were my go-to for cheap transportation for years. This was my driveway in ~2013. Black one was my commuter, green Escort sedan was my youngest sons that we swapped the motor and trans from the red one into and the silver one in the back was one I bought for my daughter.

You realize there aren’t just adults on the plane. If I knew it was just adults yeah, tough shit get over it but it’s not unreasonable to not want your 9 year old to see and hear that.

While I agree with you, there are still certain things I would rather not have to describe or define to my 5- and 7-year-old kids at this point in their life.

also cars.
