I think anybody (including children) who get angry to the point you’d consider it rage is that way because someone let them be that way. It’s essentially a tantrum and I really believe nobody ever told them this is not acceptable.

This is very close to the setup my wife and I have. Three Ikea table bolted together giving each a return that separates us. Two storage units above both desks and a 32” television mounted to the wall between them and a Bluray player and AIO Printer beneath it.
The only time I’ve found it was a problem is using the keyboard on a mobile device since they’re truncated. When it became a problem once I googled “keyboard” and figured out what it was.
That’s exactly my point. They take death and how they’d prefer to die very seriously and it is heartfelt especially when he says he can’t kill his mother, friend and girlfriend in the same day. You feel that pain and then it pivots immediately back into a goofy comedy. I’m not saying it loses the game, I’m just saying…
Shaun of the Dead has a massive flaw I never noticed until someone pointed it out to me having seen Hot Fuzz first. The movie never recovers from his mother’s death. They build this very sweet relationship between Shaun and his mother and his fighting against her boyfriend that when she dies you actually care and you…
Exactly! That’s the way you do it.
I buy a lot of movies so I have a “queue shelf” of everything I’ve bought that I haven’t watched. Right now there are 33. We won’t talk about TV series.
Okay then...
Credit where credit is due. That belongs to Louie CK from an episode of his show when his daughter complains about how much more ice cream her sister has.
Actually there is a big difference. I spoke to my wife about this conversation the other night (she’s public advocacy attorney). She explained to me that Unemployment is limited benefits for people who have lost their jobs. Welfare is for children. It was originally designed after WWI for families who’s fathers died…
I think you’re doing what a lot of people do and confusing unemployment benefits with welfare. And it your employer is not only an asshole but seems like they would be in violation of several labor laws. There is a reason there is a forty hour work, sick days and weekends. There didn’t used to be. You could pursue his…
I totally misunderstood you. I thought you meant you needed it and chose not to take it and elected to get help from your family. I apologize if I was abrasive toward you.
So wait. Is it a farce and sham that people need assistance or that they don't get the handout from their family instead of the government? Is it the handout that makes people lazy or who they take the handout from?
Agreed. And the farmers who take government subsidy money should be ashamed. Same for students who take the Pell Grant for college. I refused to take the GI Bill or a lower rate student loan subsidized by the government. I believe in homeschooling or private school because I pay my share. I never claim mortgage…
I think it was Ross Perot (and I may be wrong) who wanted to charge everyone a quarter at the pump. Getting $40 of gas... that'll be $40.25. Getting $3.00... that'll be $3.25. That quarter then goes into a fund to pay for everyone's car insurance and that way if you're vehicle is on the road, somewhere someone paid…
I read somewhere that when you’re standing in a place of business and the employee answers a ringing phone instead of talking to you, that’s because for decades phones didn’t have answering machines and people were conditioned that when you hear a ringing phone you answer it. That might not apply to the generation…
Ugh. That seems like it's solving a problem that doesn't exist. I'd rather have a system that emails or texts me at a determined interval with the perishable items I've ordered in the past with a checklist if I needed a reorder.
I haven't seen the video but I would assume "programmable" means you have to sync it to your wifi and Amazon account.
I always thought video games were way too influenced by movies and instead of trying to replicate them, should try harder at doing things only video games can do. There is a sequence in Batman Arkham Asylum where the game starts skipping like the disc is defective. It’s brilliant and it only works in a video game.
I'm with you. So this thing has wifi and a battery big enough to push a wifi signal? And they're going to make a separate one for every brand name product?
