Great review, just wanted to point out that Gigi’s runway look wasn’t just any “Girl Scout” look, but a glorious and loving reference to the all-time classic Troop Beverly Hills.

Funnily enough (if I’m thinking of the right hospital in Phoenix) one of the Banner hospitals is literally on 5th Avenue or 5th Avenue dead ends into it.
I Won’t Say is THE BEST song from that movie and one of my all-time favorite Disney movie songs. That is all.
Rich can you repurpose your Doomsday post from fourfour for today’s times? I think we could all benefit from that.
Jealous. But yeah, I know those people are a small minority of Bernie supporters, but its hard to ignore them.
I hate Biden (will still vote for him), but the erasure of his vast POC support by this article is startling. Like I get that not all Sanders supporters are “Bernie Bros” but that doesn’t negate the fact that Bernie Bros exist and that, unfortunately, far more POC voters supported Biden thus far.
But Trump as president is somehow better? I feel you and your frustration with Biden. I was a Warren supporter who plans to vote for Sanders if the PA primaries still happen, but unless you don’t live in a swing state, not voting for Biden instead of Trump is irresponsible.
I don’t fully buy that this time, as it is clear now that Bernie, unfortunately, only was able to challenge Clinton because so many people didn’t want to vote for her. Just look at Biden’s rout of Sanders in Michigan. If those people still vote in the general, we will probably be fine without the Bernie or Bust…
Like just look at her tweet about her “updated” COVID policy where she’s just getting attacks for not endorsing Bernie right out of the gate. I live in PA and should our primaries still happen or matter, I plan to vote for Bernie, but I have to say, the aggressive supporters of Bernie online make it harder for me to…
Ugh this sucks. I get that they can’t edit her out of the show, as I’m sure it wouldn’t make sense, but going forward, especially in the early episodes when there are lots of queens, they really should make an effort to cut her out as much as possible. Given the timing of when this story broke, I get there was no way…
It would be difficult for your Czech relatives in that there would be no legal pathway to citizenship for them with few exceptions (exceptional skills, family reunification and maybe the lottery?). Aside from those exceptions there wouldn’t be any pathway for them to get into this country now. The problem is not…
Seriously. I know first class isn’t a viable option, but if you don’t want the seat to recline in front of you either get an exit row seat (regulations require that seats in front of an exit row cannot recline) or a bulkhead or if you don’t want to pay the nominal fee to book a preferred seat, fly a shitty airline…
Yeah I wish his response was more like “Yes, under a democratic socialist system there are millionaires and upward mobility is still a possibility. thank you for pointing it out!”
She’s a unity candidate in the sense that she still can appeal to the progressive base while not freaking out the establishment centrists as much. She’s not trying to position herself as a centrist moderate, just someone who is a bit more practical and slightly to the right of Sanders.
While neither are remotely my first choice, Buttigieg and Klobuchar would be far better alternatives than Bloomberg or Biden. It wouldn’t be as difficult to get me to vote for one of them than Bloomberg.
Bloomberg would be worse in the sense that he would actually be competent enough to do more than just nominating judges (and lets be real, he probably wouldn’t be great on that front either). While Trump creates a lot of psychic trauma, his administration is by and large too incompetent to actually enact a lot of his…
Yeah, under current immigration laws, it would be very difficult for your Czech relatives to get in here “legally”.
A lot of them have been doing that recently. The downside is they typically use such seats as a means to squeeze even more rows into coach.
Yeah but Southwest gives you the option to pay for a better boarding position so you can claim an exit row/bulkhead seat more easily.
Go to seatguru.com They will tell you which seats don’t recline or have limited recline and then choose a seat in the row behind that (or get a bulkhead). Yes those seats typically cost more to select in advance, but if people aren’t willing to pay up to avoid people reclining into them, I have little pity for them.
