I read the whole (unredacted) interview. I know we all know this, but...I just can’t believe this clown is POTUS.

Also a Baltimoron here and was confused as to why he would drive all the way to New York. But, the article stated that he chose to go to New York because it was the “media capital of the world and he wanted to make a statement”

It’s super weird. But his area of Baltimore (my old neighborhood incidentally) is SUPER WHITE and definitely has a lot of people who kind of live in their own bubble. Maybe he thought since NYC is so much bigger he’d be able to go on more of a spree before he got caught? (but then again he only killed one dude so...

I love this show. Am I wrong? That is not a real question.

Can you tell that to the guy I dated a few times over ten years ago who dumped me after a political argument but still IMs me “hey” 2-3 times a year?

Affleck’s pretty open about trying to be sober and letting his kids know that it’s public, but it’s a good thing and he finished rehab. And i think that’s respectable enough as a human living their truth and a parent not sheltering their children/teaching them the really hard lessons where I can not give a shit how

I love Celine. She’s so much and exactly right at the same time.

I hid my love of Céline for many, many years. Now that I’m an old I can say without a trace of shame that the Céline show I went to this summer was one of the best I’ve ever been to.

I’ve met Lin-Manuel Miranda! He and I went to the same high school. He was a few years older, but when he graduated college (while I was still in HS) he came back as a substitute teacher and I had him. This was wayyyyy back in the day, ‘05 or ‘06. Mr. Miranda! He’s fucking awesome.

I gotta say, I saw it this weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. They gave most of the central characters a little more of a backstory and I think it really added to the tale. I really loved Josh Gad’s portrayal of LeFou - a standard lame sidekick character in the cartoon became a much funnier and more interesting

Yes, Luke Evans was my favourite part, followed closely by Audra just because I love her and would listen to her sing all damn day. I came home singing the Gaston tune. My husband is all “why are you singing about antlers?”.

To this day, “Plans to persecute harmless crackpots like Gaston!” remains not only my favourite lyric in any Disney song, ever, but quite possibly, one of my favourite lyrics ever written, period.

But here was the real crime: for all the word-for-word dialogue, that they failed to include “if it’s not baroque, don’t fix it” was a goddman crime!

Yeah, but the Gaston song is honestly one of my favorite Disney songs- I think the only villain song superior is Be Prepared (and that’s because, for me, Lion King is literally flawless). So I am excited for that!

I was uncomfortable with how much of it was lifted from the original animated version. It was so weird hearing things word for word.

“I need to make sure you’re from here,” the waiter told the women who, not knowing what else to do, handed over their IDs.

Taking BCPs, even though you are technically having a cycle, should shut down your natural cycle of hormones over time and replace it with an artificial one. This should give you relief from your hormone-related depression. I see that folks are suggesting that you skip the blank pills and just stay on the hormones

I'm so sorry that, even as adults, some of us are still able to appreciate and respect the things that brought us joy as children, Kara.

If you're trying to be funny, it's kinda lame. If you're trying to be serious... it's kinda lame. Sorry love.
