If this is really a deep romance my thoughts are 1) she’s known him for over a decade which is always a relief when a celeb and easier 2) Antonoff set them up so another close “friend” vouched 3) he’s also a celeb which is her MO and helps enormously. I agree and I don’t think they do a great job of representing that. Because of a huge college with 25,000 students, you have an absurd number of people with expertise, advanced degrees, international experience, etc. that doesn’t naturally exist in small town America.
